You know what was perhaps the biggest, most climactic crossover in history? Here’s a hint, it’s not the portal scene from Avengers: Endgame, and don’t even think about Deadpool & Wolverine. It was when Ben 10 joined forces with Rex in the one-hour-long special Generator Rex episode that aired on Cartoon Network.

The amalgamation of that animated duo was so apical that it is still held special in many a millennial’s heart (and perhaps some Gen Z with good taste). And rightly so.

Ben 10 has had a total of five animated shows featuring the titular hero and his alien alter-egos, but not every show has been a success. The original Ben 10 series from 2005 was a hit with young viewers and ranks among the best Cartoon Network shows. The most recent entry, Ben 10 (2016), serving as a reboot, was the least good, with a low user rating and a lack of coherence compared to the original.
Figuring out the best Ben 10 series can be tough since there have been animated shows featuring the titular hero and his alien alter-egos, to mixed results. The original Ben 10 first aired in 2005 on Cartoon Network and immediately became a hit with young viewers who loved the idea of a kid hero who could transform into a variety of super-powered aliens. Along with his cousin Gwen, his grandpa Max, and some friends who appear in later series,...

It's a spin-off from their movie Luck, which already opened last year on the streaming platform. When bad luck finds its way into the Land of Luck, this elite team of bunnies spring into action to take care of it and keep things lucky. They end up getting into all kinds of trouble in this Land of Luck place. The short is directed by animation filmmaker Matt Youngberg and produced by Laurel Ladevich. Made by Skydance Animation, this 5-minute comedy short is just another promo for the feature-length Luck movie.

What better way to enter the holiday season than with a Ben 10: Omniverse 3-part story arc?
“Duel of the Duplicates” kicks off this weekend in “The Ultimate Heist.” We’ve had a chance to preview all three episodes, and revel in the Tennyson antics, alien transformations, surprises and plot twists. The rush took me back to “The Forge of Creation” episode of Ben 10: Ultimate Alien. It was in that story that we first met “Ultimate Kevin” – the events of which nearly led to Kevin and the universe’s demise.
Thankfully, we got through all that drama. “Duel of the Duplicates” may not feature Ultimate Kevin, but the events of this arc will surely ripple throughout the rest of the season.
Without giving away any major spoilers, here are 13 Focus Points on “Duel of the Duplicates”:

If you haven’t been watching the new Thundercats on Cartoon Network, you should check it out. It’s part of a tasty Saturday morning lineup, sandwiched between Ben 10: Ultimate Alien at 9/8c and Green Lantern: The Animated Series at 10/9c, and rounded out by Young Justice at 10:30/9:30c. Okay, I’ll admit it, I was sceptical, but I watch ‘em every week. Yes I’m hooked, and I’m proud. Saturday mornings are cool.
As Lion-o and Pumyra try to evade Mumm-Ra and his forces in the mines of Mount Plundarr in an effort to keep the Sword of Plundarr out his hands, we flash back in time and discover its origin … and its relationship with the Sword of Omens. Catch the all new episode Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Et/Pt on Cartoon Network!

If you’re a long time Blogomatic 3000 visitor you’ll probably know that I’m a bit of a comic fan, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that I’m a fan of “Man of Action”, the group comprised of comic writers and artists Duncan Rouleau, Joe Casey, Joe Kelly and Steven T Seagle, who created Ben 10 and Generator Rex, and have been involved in the new Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon.
For those of you not down with the kids, Ben 10 is a cartoon about a boy who acquires a watch-like alien device called the Omnitrix which allows him to transform into a range of bizarre looking alien creatures. Ben 10 has since been succeeded by Ben 10: Alien Force, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, and Ben 10: Omniverse. Each new cartoon series has seen the characters mature, introduced or altered existing relationships, introduced new villains and alien transformations.

We recently got a sneak peak at the new Ben 10: Omniverse product line from Bandai and the toys look awesome. The new cartoon, scheduled for release later this year from Man of Action, features both a younger version of Ben Tennyson -at age 10 – as well as the older version currently in Ben 10: Ultimate Alien. The teenage Ben in Omniverse will be sixteen.
The style of cartoon has a more anime vibe as you will notice from the teenage figure of Ben 10, which has a sleeker, narrow-bodied design. There
The new series includes three sizes of figures, including mini size with stand. These toys are mostly non-posable toys that show Ben 10 characters and transformations in action.
The standard action-figure size ranges are about four inches tall. You will get four to six points of articulation at the knees, shoulders and elbow joints. Here is teen Ben on a skateboard.

The WGA announced these nominations Wednesday (Dec. 7) as well as those up for consideration in television, news, radio, promotional writing and graphic animation nominees. The WGA Awards are slated for Feb. 9, 2012.
"Boardwalk Empire," "Breaking Bad" and "Homeland" were cited in both the best drama category as well as best episode of a drama show.
"30 Rock" and "Modern Family" both received noms for best comedy and best comedy episode.
On the new series side, the nominees were "Episodes," "Homeland," "Game of Thrones," "The Killing," and "New Girl."

Ben 10 Galactic Racing takes the franchise down the familiar route of Kart racing, made popular through Mario Kart. This is the first racing game for the franchise and it will surely garner the attention of series fans. It features the voices of Ben 10: Ultimate Alien series regulars, including John Di Maggio (as Rath), Yuri Lowenthal (as Ben) and Greg Cipes (as Kevin). We got a chance to preview the new title and get some hands on Omnitrix/Ultimatrix action. Ben 10 Galactic Racing introduces a slightly modified story to the Ben 10 universe. Instead of an earth adventure, Ben Tennyson is called upon to participate in a inter-Galactic race (you could probably have figured that out from the title). The race takes place every 1000 years. This story introduces a new alien character to the universe named Fasttrack, while giving old-school alien Diamondhead a video game debut. The game has 25 playable tracks.

Cbr (www.comicbookresources.com) provided this Update on the passing of multi-talented comic book and media writer Dwayne McDuffie yesterday afternoon:
1:25 Pm Pst: Cbr has learned that McDuffie died from complications due to a surgical procedure performed Monday evening.
I didn’t find out about this until close to midnight last night and yelled out in sheer horror. It really threw me for a loop. Like S&A commenter Skyvolt said in the previous McDuffie post, he didn’t cry about lack of Black characters, he did something about it. Weird, I was just watching All-Star Superman yesterday and was looking forward to the new Static monthly book (though not written by him) to come out in a few months. Man, I’m still shocked, no dumb pun intended. Only Jam Master J’s passing threw me for more of a wallop.

Comic book, television, and movie writer Dwayne McDuffie, who wrote comic books for Marvel and DC and co-founded the comic book company Milestone Media before crossing over to television and animation, has died at the age of 49 from complications due to a surgical procedure performed Monday evening.
Milestone Media, co-founded by McDuffie expanded the role of minorities in comics and launched a line of superheroes (through DC Comics) that included Static, Hardware, Icon, Blood Syndicate and Xombi, all of which McDuffie had a hand in creating. One of Milestone’s featured characters, Static, made the leap to television in 2000 as the hero of the award-winning animated series Static Shock.
Throughout his career, McDuffie wrote comics for both DC Comics and Marvel Comics, including Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight, Fantastic Four, Captain Marvel and Justice League of America.
