One of the symbiotes captured by Imperium is a grey symbiote. When it bonds to a host it manifests giant fists, a reference to Riot from the comics.
Around 57 minutes in Venom says to Eddie "You could get voted People's Sexiest Man of the Year." Eddie replies "I've won Sexy Man awards before." Tom Hardy is referring to his win as the UK's Sexiest Man Alive in 2021.
Before Kelly Marcel was hired to direct the third film, Andy Serkis who directed Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021), expressed interest in returning to direct another Venom film, and felt there was more to explore with Venom in future films before the character met Spider-Man in a future MCU/SSU crossover film, including further exploration of the Ravencroft Institute and other potential villains being held there.
