In 2015, when Conan took his show to Havana, Cuba, it was the first time an American late night television host taped a segment there since Jack Paar with his Tonight Starring Jack Paar (1957) show in 1959.
The show was shortened from 1-hour to 30-minutes in January 2019.
This show is recorded in the same studio, in which some interior scenes for The Goonies (1985) were filmed.
Conan O'Brien individually interviewed the cast of The Walking Dead (2010) on his show, but never interviewed Andrew Lincoln (the lead character Rick Grimes).
