Biopic of Sindhutai Sapkal, one of the most iconic and compassionate social workers of India, affectionately known as "Mother of Orphans"!

There are many great people in the world that we might not know of. But thanks to today's technology and media, we cannot only know them but also can see, read and understand their incredible life journey and struggles. One of such inspiring legends is Sindhutai Sapkal, also known as "Mother of Orphans" or simply "Mai" (Mother). This movie is based on her life and how she transformed with eminence struggle from being born in a small and remote village of Maharashtra with hardly enough food to eat, to being a mother of 1400 adopted children (as of January 2020), more than 750 awards winner (including Nari Shakti award 2017 from President Of India, the highest civilian award dedicated for Women) and an inspiration to millions of souls. I would highly recommend this movie to everyone, regardless of where you live or what language you speak. I have no doubts you will feel absolutely inspired and happy by the end of the movie.

    Hard-hitting Biopic of valour

This is a Marathi language film starring Tejaswini Pandit in the title role.

The movie is a tribute to the life of Padmashri Sindhutai Sapkal (Mai) who recently passed away.

The movie is a difficult watch to see the struggles she was put throw by a narrow-minded social system. Finding love neither in her mother nor her husband which she craved, she braved all odds and channelled her suffering to become a mother and protector to thousands of orphaned children.

A must-watch tribute to how life is to be faced.
