An excellent slow burner

This is clearly not going to be for everyone. It's slow, gripping, story telling and it's not a horror film.

The whole film revolves around one central character and her efforts to revitalise her journalism career via a podcast on unsolved mysteries. It's excellently written and beautifully shot, featuring clever moments to draw you in.

If you want gore or adrenaline, this is not for you. It's an intriguing story with a satisfying climax that is another classic for the Aussie film industry.

The whole cinematic scope is thought well through and the screenplay is really tight - the film just works.

If you like a slow burn, a little sci-fi and some good story development, this is worth sitting down and watching.

Of the film's lead actress, its director Matt Vesely has said: "Lily Sullivan has an impressive body of work behind her already, and it was obvious to us after our first meeting that she had a lot of passion for the project. We can't wait to work with her at bringing this film to life. The role she plays - the only on-screen role in the whole film - is integral to the film's success and we know that she's going to deliver."

Jarad: Mom reckoned she'd been followed her whole life. Well, this one time, we're at the beach, and Mom sees this guy pointing a camera at us. She starts going off at him, but he's just frozen watching us. He says, "I'm sorry, this is just the way it has to be." And then he runs.
Jarad: Until slam! He jumps straight in front of a car. Like it was deliberate. Dead on impact.
