Ink Master tests skill, creativity, and mastery of the craft, but it should not be a test of how well an artist appeases a judge's personal bias. The tattoo competition has had over a decade-long run with many different twists and trials for talented tattoo artists to endure to prove that they have what it takes to be considered an Ink Master. A twist that has been present in multiple seasons of Ink Master is blind judgment. An entire season of blind judgment would present a fresh twist on an old game while preventing the judges' bias from seeping into the competition.

Ink Master contestants often finish their tattoos well before the time limit, making the last-minute drama all for show. Human canvases on Ink Master are allowed to take breaks at their own discretion, contradicting the complaints of the artists. The jury's decisions on Ink Master are heavily influenced and edited by production, undermining their supposed impact on the competition.
Ink Master is one of the best reality TV shows, but some aspects of the show are fake. While the show was previously canceled, its popularity led to being renewed for Ink Master season 15. The show takes the art of tattooing to a new level of pressure and artistic difficulty, though some Ink Master winners deserve it more than others.

[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for Ink Master Season 15 Finale] With unpredictable twists at every turn and next-level challenges, Season 15 of Ink Master tested its artists like perhaps never before. The finale on Paramount+ came down to Freddie Albrighton, Bobby Johnson, and Jon Mesa. They were tasked with creating three consecutive leg tattoos over 12-hour sessions. One last wrench was thrown by host Joel Madden. The three would not only have to earn the votes of himself, DJ Tambe, Ryan Ashley, and Nikko Hurtado. They also had to impress a jury panel of Ink Master winners: Anthony Michaels (Season 7), Joey Hamilton (Season 3), Josh Payne (Season 10), Bubba Irwin (Season 9), and Og Shane O’Neill (Season 1). Thanks in large part to his overall work and Japanese snake, Johnson was named the latest Ink Master. Here the San Diego tattoo titan opens up about his journey through the competition. Cleen Rock One and Anthony Michaels were deserving winners of Ink Master seasons 11 and 7, showcasing their talent and skill throughout the competition. Joey Hamilton stood out in season 3 with his impressive performances in every tattoo style, ultimately winning with his mermaid and underwater scene. Tiffer Wright had a fantastic performance in season 11, winning Tattoo of the Day five times, but unfortunately came in third place in the finale, which many viewed as a massive injustice.
Paramount Network’s Ink Master is a gripping show, but some winners deserved the coveted spot more than others. Whether tuning in solely for the artistry of the tattoos themselves (or to mock the more questionable ones), the increasingly odd flash challenges, the dramatic rivalries between contestants, or some combination of these things, it’s a heck of a ride. Some things about Ink Master are fake, but who wins is real.

Ink Master is back, and the battle lines are drawn. The official trailer was recently released, and the show looks spectacular. The show's 15th season will premiere on November 1st on Paramount +. Joel Madden, lead singer from the American rock band Good Charlotte is also back in the hot seat as host. Fifteen world-class tattoo artists will compete in the ultimate tattoo competition, where the winner will receive $250,000 and the prestigious title of Ink Master. One of the many exciting things about Ink Master is how it showcases the imagination, creativity, and skills of tattoo artists. Many of the challenges on the show require the contestants to develop designs they didn't pick themselves. Because of this, the contestants have to think fast and smart to survive. This usually ends in nail-biting excitement to see what new designs these all-star artists came up with.

The show follows a group of friends living, loving and pursuing their passions in West Hollywood. The group includes celebrity stylist Brad Goreski and choreographer and singer Todrick Hall, both of whom have coincidentally been judges on iterations of “Drag Race” themselves.
“Surviving Compton” and “Insecure” actor Curtis Hamilton, Buttah Skincare CEO Dorión Renaud, OUTBound owner and TV host Jaymes Vaughan and social media influencer and digital entrepreneur Joey Zauzig also star.
“In a town and community where image and status are everything, they’re ready to pull back the Hollywood curtain and reveal their most authentic selves not just to one another but the world,” the show’s description states.
