Paris and Los Angles-based Breakaway Media has kicked off Efm talks on Alison Eastwood’s gothic romance Battlecreek.
Anthea Anka wrote the screenplay about an ailing man whose protected life is shattered by the arrival of a young woman.
Bill Skarsgård, Paula Malcomson, Claire van der Boom, and Delroy Lindo star in the film, hot off its world premiere at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
“Alison Eastwood’s storytelling is poetic, and like her father [Clint], she is a visionary who will be making films for a very long time to come,” said head of sales Mark Austin.

Connie Hoy is producing under her Maindiner Entertainment banner along with Eastwood, who has recruited her father Clint Eastwood‘s longtime editor Gary Roach for the indie project.
