Myles Bullock, best known for his appearances on Starz’s Bmf and Peacock’s Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist, has joined the new Prison Break reboot as a series regular.
Hulu and Mayans Mc showrunner Elgin James are behind the new iteration of the former Fox series that starred Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell.
The two are not returning for the new series, which is described as a new take on the concept but set in the same world as the previous show. Emily Browning (American Gods), Lukas Gage (Companion) and Drake Rodger (Landman) are the leads of the new Prison Break.
The original show premiered on Fox in 2005 and centered on Michael Scofield (Miller), a structural engineer who commits armed robbery in order to be sentenced to the same prison where his brother, Lincoln Burrows (Purcell) is incarcerated for a crime he didn’t commit. Scofield has an...

Black Panther singer and One Of Them Days star, Sza, is ready to take this whole acting thing a bit more seriously — super seriously, in fact. And considering she already has one foot in the door at Marvel thanks to her award-winning song with Kendrick Lamar, "All the Stars" from the 2018 film, we could see one particular "dream role" of hers becoming a reality. After all, she's already technically played a superhero once before (albeit for a State Farm commercial).
But while speaking to fellow singer/actress Jennifer Hudson on her eponymous daytime talk show, Sza revealed she'd love to tackle the origin story of Ororo Munroe — better known to comic book fans as Storm, a role originally inhabited by none other than Halle Berry (and more recently Alexandra Shipp). And you know what? We could totally see her pulling it off.

Per Variety, the new Prison Break pilot has cast Emily Browning (American Gods), Lukas Gage (Dead Boy Detectives), and Drake Rodger (Landman) in major roles. The Prison Break reboot at Hulu may not be giving us another season with Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) and Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell), but it is giving us quite the new cast to make up for it. According to a new report from Variety, the Elgin James-created reboot has cast three series regulars — and they all come from majorly successful shows.
Emily Browning, Lukas Gage, and Drake Rodger have been cast to lead the show for the pilot episode that has been ordered by the streamer. And while you may not know those names off the top of your head, you absolutely know their faces and have likely seen (and loved!) at least one thing they have done in recent years.
Set in the same world as the original Prison Break, but telling an entirely new story of its own, the show will focus on three characters to be played by the actors above.

Mr. Wick is again trying to retire in John Wick: Chapter 4. The 2023 John Wick installment has Baba Yaga meeting old friends and making new enemies as the High Table hunts him down for everything he did in the last three movies. The nail-biter sequel to the action franchise is set in various international locations, including Japan and France, where its diverse cast impresses in fight sequences more gruesome than ever.
Some of Keanu Reeves' co-stars in the fourth chapter are seen from the first movie, like Ian McShane and Lance Reddick as the manager and the concierge of the Continental Hotel in New York City. New cast members like Bill Skarsgård and Natalia Tena are fantastic additions, and their characters steal the show in their scenes. Even newcomer Rina Sawayama shines in a minor role, leaving no doubt that the cast of John Wick 4 is outstanding.

The movie marks the feature debut of producer David Michaels, who is set to write and direct.

The story of the making of "Star Trek: Discovery" is well-known to Trekkies with a smattering of inside-baseball knowledge. Bryan Fuller was asked to create a new "Star Trek" series by the higher-ups at CBS, and he was eager to do so. He loved "Star Trek," having written scripts for "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" and "Star Trek: Voyager." He and Alex Kurtzman began assembling a new series, as CBS didn't yet have an idea of what they wanted. Fuller had a novel idea: a "Star Trek" anthology series. He envisioned a series of multiple 10-episode seasons, each one set at a different time within the future history of "Star Trek." The first season would take place shortly before the events of the original "Star Trek," the second would run concurrently with the original "Star Trek," the third during the age of "Star Trek: The Next Generation," and so on,...

Neil Gaiman, the best-selling author behind The Sandman, Good Omens, and American Gods has been in the headlines for unsettling reasons. Eight women have accused him of s*xual assault, abuse and coercion. The reports of these assaults span decades, with one dating back to the 80s. The first allegations emerged in July 2024 and it has since been a downward spiral for Gaiman. The champion of fantasy is now stuck in a storm of allegations.

As a result of such untoward reports, many projects based on Gaiman’s works have been halted or canceled. The people allegedly subjected to Gaiman’s diabolical acts range from fans to people working for him. Even though the British author maintains that all these sexual encounters were consensual, the multiple claims of abuse made against him do not help his case. Either way, he has suffered plenty of damage to his reputation.

A Blind Bargain trailer: Crispin Glover stars in reimagining of lost Lon Chaney classic – Exclusive!
Back in 1922, after an extended battle with the censors of the time (who were unhappy with the subject matter of “doctors creating artificial life and attempting to play God”), Goldwyn Pictures released a silent horror film called A Blind Bargain, which starred the legendary Lon Chaney as both Dr. Arthur Lamb and his assistant, the Ape Man. Sadly, A Blind Bargain went on to become a lost film, as MGM destroyed the original negative years after they took over Goldwyn Pictures, and the last surviving print is thought to have burned in the same 1965 fire in Vault #7 on the MGM backlot that also resulted in the loss of London After Midnight and other Lon Chaney films. Now, director Paul Bunnell has made a reimagining of A Blind Bargain, and we have the Exclusive first look at the trailer. Check it out in the embed above!

Following a bombshell Vulture cover story detailing sexual abuse allegations by eight women, Neil Gaiman has issued a statement maintaining his innocence. Gaiman, an acclaimed author who has enjoyed success across a variety of mediums, was first publicly accused of sexual abuse allegations last summer through the Tortoise Media series, The Master: The Allegations Against Neil Gaiman. During the six-episode podcast, five women accused The Sandman author of sexual assault (Gaiman quickly denied those allegations). On Monday, more women came forward via a damning story, There Is No Safe Word, published by New York Magazine's Vulture.
Gaiman addressed the comments made in Vulture's report in a post titled "Breaking the Silence," published on his website. He admits he is "far from a perfect person" and acknowledges involvement with the women interviewed but denies ever engaging "in non-consensual sexual activity with anyone."
"I went back to read the messages...

Yesterday, New York Magazine published an in-depth piece titled, “There Is No Safe Word,” which outlined - in disturbing detail - new allegations of sexual assault that have been made against acclaimed comic book and novel writer, Neil Gaiman.
This follows earlier accusations from five women (four of whom were interviewed for the new article) that came to light last year. A police report was filed, but the investigation was ultimately dropped.
We're not going to go into the sickening events described in the piece, but if you do decide to read it (you'll find a non-paywall version below), be warned that it contains a number of graphic descriptions of sexual assault.
Here's a non-paywalled link to the Neil Gaiman article. It's an important read, but definitley not a light one - an unfathomably harrowing account of sexual abuse. In a just world, neither Gaiman nor Amanda Palmer would know another day's peace.

Here's a non-paywalled link to the Neil Gaiman article. It's an important read, but definitley not a light one - an unfathomably harrowing account of sexual abuse. In a just world, neither Gaiman nor Amanda Palmer would know another day's peace.

St. Denis Medical broke through in a big way when it debuted on NBC in the fall, and the network issued some exciting news on Tuesday morning:
St. Denis Medical Season 2 is a go.
The mockumentary is NBC’s first scripted renewal for the 2025-26 TV season. Make of that what you will.
(NBC)
The freshman drama averages just under 4 million viewers and has a 0.5 rating in the demo, proving that the broadcast networks still have some life left.
NBC teases that the series has reached 21.4 million viewers to date, which is astounding, but it doesn’t hold much water when the network doesn’t break it down.
The Live + 7 numbers are enough to keep it on the air for several years.

New allegations of sexual misconduct and assault have surfaced against Neil Gaiman, the best-selling fantasy author whose books Good Omens, American Gods and The Sandman have become TV series.
On Monday, New York Magazine published a cover story titled, “There Is No Safe Word,” with writer Lila Shapiro’s piece detailing new claims against Gaiman based on interviews with eight women. This follows the July 2024 release of the Tortoise Media podcast Master, which reported earlier graphic accusations by five women against the celebrated genre writer. (Four of those women were among those who spoke for the New York Magazine piece.)
One of the claims comes from Scarlett Pavlovich, a former babysitter for Gaiman and his ex-wife Amanda Palmer, who described being sexually assaulted in February 2022 by Gaiman in New Zealand in a backyard bathtub.

Last year, two women came forward to accuse Neil Gaiman of sexual assault and abuse in 2024, and since then, the extent of those allegations has been slowly revealed through additional reporting. The true level of abuse is far more disturbing than originally detailed, and the added layer of the alleged complicity of his ex-wife, musician Amanda Palmer, shows just how much power and control play a part in these situations.
Warning: This article includes mentions of sexual violence and assault.
Per a very detailed report from Vulture that includes interviews with four of the five women who have gone public with allegations of assault, Gaiman's methods of abuse knew no bounds. One of the women, Scarlett Pavlovich, met Gaiman in New Zealand and eventually became his children's nanny. The author allegedly wasted no time in his pursuit of Pavlovich, as their first meeting concluded with Gaiman convincing her to bathe...

Hayao Miyazaki is known for creating movies with strong themes of environmentalism, anti-war sentiments, and impactful female leads. Very few Studio Ghibli movies check off the list as magnificently as Princess Mononoke. The movie paints a very vivid picture of the relationship between humanity and the environment.
The movie had very different receptions in the East as compared to the West. Nonetheless, it still stands as one of the most legendary works of Hayao Miyazaki, especially since he never bent to the will of Disney to compromise the integrity of the film.

You can't welcome a person like Norman Reedus to the world of John Wick and not ask about how the gun-fu franchise compares to his long-running gig in The Walking Dead and spin-offs. The actor is entering the franchise with a new and mysterious character whose motivations will only become clear once we finally sit down to watch Ballerina. He'll star alongside Ana de Armas (Ghosted) and Ian McShane (American Gods) in the new installment, which is directed by Len Wiseman (Underworld franchise).

"She’s Not John Wick": Ana de Armas Explains What Makes Her 'Ballerina' Character Unique [Exclusive]
Ballerina brings us a distinctly more graceful entry into the world of John Wick when it opens in theaters in June, and fans are undoubtedly keen to see Ana de Armas step into the assassin-filled universe as Eve Macarro. While the spin-off film looks like it will provide plenty of the high-octane action and intricate choreography that made the John Wick series iconic, de Armas is making it clear that her character isn’t just a female version of Keanu Reeves’ Baba Yaga. Alongside de Armas and Reeves, the cast of Ballerina also features Ian McShane (American Gods), Anjelica Huston (The Addams Family), Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon), Catalina Sandino Moreno (From), Gabriel Byrne (Hereditary), David Castañeda (The Umbrella Academy), Sharon Duncan-Brewster (Dune: Part One), Anne Parillaud (Nikita), and the late Lance Reddick (Bosch).

The Penguin‘s visionary lead director, Craig Zobel, has signed a new multi-year, first-look deal at HBO.
The Emmy nominee helmed the first three episodes of the Gothic crime drama, helping establish the visual language of the series, as well as serving as an executive producer.
The Penguin started strong out of the gate with an acclaimed pilot and gradually became one of the network’s biggest hits in years, with its series premiere having racked up a cumulative 18 million U.S. viewers.
Zobel previously told The Hollywood Reporter that he kicked off his relationship with the show by writing Reeves a fan letter about The Batman. “I happened to have his email,” he said. “So I reached out to say, ‘Hey, not for nothing, [The Batman] was the superhero movie I wanted to see right now. You killed it.’ That was my first time saying anything to Matt at all.
