Many of The Challenge fans have criticized which cast members appear in the All Stars spinoff, and that’s become a more immense contention with All Stars Rivals.
The fifth season of MTV’s spinoff show featured cast members paired with castmates with whom they had a feud or rivalry.
It also is the first season of the spinoff to feature cast members who weren’t only originally from MTV reality TV shows.
Big Brother stars Amber Borzotra and Faysal “Fessy” Shafaat, international Survivor star Turabi “Turbo” Camkiran, and 12 Dates of Christmas’s Corey Lay are competing.
Amber and Turbo are former winners on MTV’s The Challenge, while Fessy is a multi-time finalist.
Corey reached the final of Battle For a New Champion, which was only his second MTV season. He recently defended his participation in All Stars despite his limited history on The Challenge.

The Boys will end its run with season 5, but that's not even close to being the most exciting upcoming project in its shared cinematic universe on Prime Video. The Boys started out as a satire of the sprawling superhero franchises owned by Marvel and DC; it even has a scene in which Vought Studios overextends itself by announcing multiple phases’ worth of sequels and spin-offs all at once. But in the last couple of years, in response to its runaway success, The Boys has become the very thing it was spoofing.
Since The Boys has become the jewel in the Amazon crown, the megacorporation — which is suspiciously similar to the franchise’s corporate big bad, Vought International — is refusing to let it die. The Boys has several spin-offs already on the air and has even more in development, like a show set in Mexico with the working title The Boys: Mexico.

Director Neil Marshall made one of the all-time coolest werewolf movies with his 2002 film Dog Soldiers (watch it Here), so it’s shocking that we’ve never gotten a sequel, especially considering we’re living in a world where An American Werewolf in Paris exists, and there have been eight Howling movies. A few years ago, Marshall said there was “more of a chance” of the sequel happening than ever before… but in a recent interview, he said he feared that Dog Soldiers 2 is dead in the water. Now, he has taken to social media to confirm that there’s little to no hope of Dog Soldiers 2 ever happening – so he’s going to make a different werewolf movie, The Werewolves of London, instead.

Typically on The Challenge, players fight, scratch and claw to avoid being called down into the Arena because in the sand, anything can happen. In Wednesday’s episode of Battle of the Eras, one player makes a move so boneheaded, so egotistical, that it directly leads to his own demise.
When the cast sees Tj again, they’re told to choose team representatives, but they aren’t told what that means exactly. But this isn’t their — or our — first rodeo. We all know that the losing era’s reps are probably going into elimination. But alas, Jodi and Darrell step up for Era 1,...

As The Challenge: Battle of the Eras episodes air, viewers see castmates reunite and rehash some of their rivalries.
One of those rivalries has continued throughout the franchise’s history, from MTV’s series to a recent spin-off.
Laurel Stucky and Cara Maria Sorbello were at odds during the fourth season of Paramount+’s All Stars 4 despite their apparent bonding as friends.
They competed against one another in the final, with Laurel reaching the finish line ahead of her rival.
With that, she congratulated Cara on her second-place finish, but the footage presented on Paramount+ throughout the season opened Cara’s eyes to her castmate.
During a recent interview, Laurel spoke about her situation with her fellow Fresh Meat star, indicating that they had apologized, but their fractured friendship remained unresolved.
Laurel commented how her feud and rivalry began with Cara Maria Sorbello

According to The Challenge’s Ryan Kehoe, production forced him to follow a specific rule in Season 40’s opening daily challenge that one of his castmates didn’t have to follow.
The first event of MTV’s Battle of the Eras season featured all 40 cast members attempting to build puzzles resembling the number 40 and then retrieve 10 light sticks from the water.
To get those light sticks, they had to grab a round boat, paddle out to obtain their specific colored lights, and bring them back to shore.
Viewers saw Laurel Stucky and Cara Maria Sorbello from the Era 2 team complete the event ahead of all cast members.
Johnny Bananas, Rachel Robinson, Ct Tamburello, Cory Wharton, and Michele Fitzgerald were among the others who excelled in the event.
However, multiple cast members struggled, including Nurys Mateo, Leroy Garrett, Katie Cooley, Ryan, and Devin Walker.

In honor of its milestone 40th season, MTV is bringing back a record-breaking 40 contestants to face off in “The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras.”
Starting this Wednesday, the competitors will be evenly split into four eras depending on when they were introduced to the franchise — Era 1, Seasons 1-10; Era 2, Seasons 11-20; Era 3, Seasons 21-30; and Era 4, Seasons 31-39 — competing for their share of the $1 million prize.
As always, the fan-favorite veterans include representatives from “The Real World” and “Road Rules,” as well as “Fresh Meat,” “Survivor,” “Big Brother,” “Love Island,” “Exatlón,” “Survival of the Fittest” and “Are You The One?” Plus, longtime host T.J. Wes Bergmann is among The Challenge’s greats and is considered an MTV Og due to his start on the network.
The two-time winner of MTV’s The Challenge and All Stars 3 spinoff winner debuted on 2005’s The Real World: Austin. His castmates included fellow future Challengers Nehemiah Clark and Melinda Stolp.
After multiple seasons of The Challenge, Wes announced his retirement from the franchise during CBS’ USA 2 spinoff. He was not among the cast members revealed for MTV’s Season 40.
Still, he’ll likely be rooting for his Og castmates on The Challenge: Battle of the Eras, including Johnny Bananas, Nehemiah Clark, Ct Tamburello, Jonna Mannion, and KellyAnne Judd.
They all share the commonality of starting on the now-defunct reality TV show, The Real World.
According to Wes, it’s time for someone to bring back the iconic reality TV show, although fans had mixed reactions.

Director Neil Marshall made one of the all-time coolest werewolf movies with his 2002 film Dog Soldiers (watch it Here), so it’s shocking that we’ve never gotten a sequel… especially considering we’re living in a world where An American Werewolf in Paris exists, and there have been eight Howling movies. A few years ago, Marshall said there was “more of a chance” of the sequel happening than ever before… but in a new interview with Inverse, he gave a disappointing update, saying he fears that Dog Soldiers 2 is dead in the water.
When asked for a status update on Dog Soldiers 2, Marshall told Inverse, “I’ve a feeling it’s probably dead in the water because things have gone very quiet from the other side. I’m not giving up, though; there’s still a possibility. We’ve been trying to get it off the ground for the past six years.

While The Challenge: All Stars 4 has yet to finish airing its episodes, there’s already pre-departure speculation for Season 5.
That includes who will appear in the cast of a revamped version of the spin-off that initially featured MTV OGs from Real World, Road Rules, and Fresh Meat.
Things changed slightly with Season 4, as Kam Williams became the first former Are You The One? cast member to appear on All-Stars.
However, All Stars 5 could feature cast members from other networks besides MTV, including CBS shows like Big Brother and Survivor.
Based on early spoilers for the potential cast, viewers could see two individuals return to the spin-off version of The Challenge after skipping the recent season of MTV’s show.
One of them is still vying for that first-ever win on the competition show, despite multiple attempts at the final, while the other captured a win as a rookie.
