Based on a social media post, it appears that as of Sept. 5, 2024, the price of the premium channel streaming service will be bumped up $1 from $9.99 to $10.99 per month. The increase comes less than a year since Starz lowered its annual subscription price. Less than one month after being released in theaters, the horror-comedy Lisa Frankenstein is now available at home. You can own or rent the film on Digital starting today.

Directed by Zelda Williams and written by Diablo Cody (Juno, Jennifer’s Body), Lisa Frankenstein first dug up someone special in movie theaters nationwide on February 9.

The classless practice of traumatic profiteering is alive and well in Thomas Walton’s micro-budget slasher Camp Pleasant Lake. We’ve become a society obsessed with gnarly true crime documentaries and podcasts, lifting infamous serial killers to celebrity status. As superfans once wrote letters to Charles Manson in prison, studios now churn out streaming programs about despicable icons like Bundy and Dahmer to capitalize on trending viewership. Camp Pleasant Lake is an intriguing commentary on selling someone else’s grief and loss for your next payday, but at no point does Walton’s execution do his “Horror LARPing” concept justice.

The film takes place at Camp Echo Lake, where new owners Rick (Michael Paré) and Darlene Rutherford (Maritza Brikisak) have reopened as an immersive Halloween experience. Michael Joy, owner of Marketing Macabre joins Showtown American Pictures in association with Babes Against Bullying for the upcoming horror film, Siesta Key Slasher starring Avaryana Rose this winter in Tampa, Florida.

Michael has come on board as a producer for Siesta Key Slasher. He has previously produced Holes In The Sky: The Sean Miller Story that holds the record for the most festival awards for a found footage horror film. He is also producer on the cult cannibal franchise, Human Hibachi and the upcoming horror film, Camp Pleasant Lake.

Siesta Key Slasher – This tale of Pirates and Murder centers on popular social media personalities who attend a world-famous seafaring festival in Central Florida. After being invited to a VIP only party on a private beach for fun and drinks the young guests begin to disappear. The group discovers a killer is on the loose. A killer with a hook and a score to settle.
