Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building” broke into Nielsen’s Top 10 streaming rankings during the week of July 25- July 31, landing in the No. 10 spot among streaming originals.
“Only Murders” entered the original streaming programs chart during the week that its sixth episode of Season 2, “Performance Review,” dropped.
The comedy, which at that time consisted of 16 available episodes in total across its first and second seasons, was viewed for 391 million minutes between July 25 and July 31. That gave “Only Murders in the Bulding” the No. 10 spot among streaming originals , which it took by knocking Amazon Prime Video’s “The Boys.”
Looking at Nielsen’s list for acquired programs, shows that are usually library content available via a streaming platform, “Game of Thrones” notably came in at No. 7 due to streams on HBO Max three weeks ahead of the “House of the Dragon” premiere on HBO.
Moving to the Top 10 streaming...

Now that 28 days have passed since the premiere of “Stranger Things” Season 4 Volume 2, it’s official: the season did not break the record of “Squid Game” to become Netflix’s most popular season of television ever.
The streamer calculates this statistic based on hours viewed during a title’s first 28 days of availability. In the case of the segmented release of “Stranger Things” Season 4, Volume 1’s viewership in the 28 days after its debut was combined with Volume 2’s viewership viewership after 28 days — meaning that viewership of Volume 1 during Volume 2’s eligible window did not contribute towards the final count.
Ultimately, “Stranger Things” Season 4 ended its run with 1.4 billion hours viewed, compared to “Squid Game’s” 1.7 billion. Important to note is the running time of both seasons: “Squid Game” is approximately 8 hours long in total, while “Stranger Things” Season 4 is approximately 13 hours long, but the 5-hour advantage of the Duffer brothers...

Titled after a 2012 Rolling Stone article that profiled the notorious internet troll Hunter Moore, Netflix’s three-part miniseries “The Most Hated Man on the Internet” is, surprisingly, not a hyperbolic statement. Recounting the rise and fall of Moore’s infamous IsAnyoneUp.com — a user-submitted revenge porn website that linked to social media accounts, doxxing people in the process — the closest corollary is, perhaps, Netflix’s own 2019 doc series “Don’t F**k with Cats.” Like that series (shares producers here), ‘Most Hated Man’ narrows in on how online culture spills out into the real world, often with malicious intent.

The series centers on the crimes of Hunter Moore, sometimes referred to as "The King of Revenge Porn," who created the website IsAnyoneUp.com. The irony is thick — considering Moore once catapulted himself to fame by capitalizing on images of unwilling people — and easy to smirk at. Maybe a bit too easy. The docuseries’ three hourlong episodes go by quickly, thanks to its streamlined storytelling and brisk pacing, and it delivers on both the white-hot outrage and the grim satisfaction promised by the downfall of a dude who really had it coming. But The Most Hated Man on the Internet falls short of the ambition needed to lend it real, lasting heft.
