Beginning with the sixteenth installment in the franchise, Kyry Sentai Zyuranger, every following season of Super Sentai was adapted into a season of Power Rangers for nearly two decades. This trend was broken when the decision was made to skip Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters in favor of adapting Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger. While Go-Busters was later adapted in Power Rangers Beast Morphers, not every subsequent skipped season has been so lucky.

Nearly a decade's worth of modern Super Sentai seasons have not been adapted for Power Rangers in any way. Some were passed over for being too atypical, while others were passed over in favor of seasons deemed to have stronger branding. With Power Rangers on hiatus, this list will only continue to grow with time.

Easter eggs and continuity have always played a large role in the larger Power Rangers canon. Power Rangers Beast Morphers was one of the best uses of this by tying its main villain to another beloved series. With the success of Beast Morphers in mind, something similar would greatly benefit the now-dormant franchise.

The Disney era of Power Rangers was somewhat of a reset for the franchise, changing up the way Power Rangers stories were told for a new generation of viewers. While the Disney era featured several beloved Power Rangers seasons, like Power Rangers Dino Thunder and Power Rangers Spd, there were also some low points, like Power Rangers Operation Overdrive.
