First season was phenomenal and season 2 was still very decent. Season 3 & 4 are almost unbearable to listen to. I don't know who decided it would be a good idea to just keep complicating the stories and adding more voice actors but it's was not a good decision.
I'm my opinion they need to get back to simplicity. Season 1 had the host Keegan Michael key,
(Who was phenomenal) take you into a different room inside the manor each episode in which 1 great voice actor would tell a creepy tale. It was excellently executed I've listened to it multiple times over.
However, As each season progressed, they added more and more voice actors per episode, in which most times it becomes multiple people talking in a story and it's literally hard to make sense of what's going on and unbearable to listen to.
