NBC is making a scheduling change, taking new drama Grosse Pointe Garden Society out of its Sunday 10 Pm slot and putting it at 8 Pm Fridays, beginning April 4. The decision comes three episodes into Grosse Pointe‘s run.

The swiftness of NBC’s action is understandable as Grosse Pointe has been drawing very low linear ratings, with the series sitting at the bottom of all of the network’s series in both total audience and adults 18-49, averaging just over a million viewers in Live+ Same Day the last two weeks.

While a move to the low-trafficked Friday night for a new broadcast series would’ve meant a certain death back in the day, the rules are different in the streaming age.

With its serialized mystery-themed storytelling, Grosse Pointe, from the Good Girls duo of Jenna Bans and Bill Krebs, was always considered better suited for streaming. As Deadline reported last year,...

“Grosse Pointe Garden Society” is on the move.

NBC is moving the drama series from its current Sunday night timeslot to Fridays at 8 p.m. Et/Pt beginning April 4. “Dateline NBC” will take over the Sunday 10 p.m. slot.

The move does not bode well for the future of “Grosse Pointe,” as a move to Fridays midway through a freshman season typically indicates a show is destined for cancellation. NBC has been successfully programming comedies on Friday nights of late, however, with the Reba McEntire multi-cam “Happy’s Place” recently earning a Season 2 renewal. The season finale of that show is set to air on March 21.

Still, despite relatively solid reviews, “Grosse Pointe” has failed to make a major impact in the broadcast ratings. Per NBC, the pilot has grown to a 1.21 rating in the adults 18-49 demo and 6.6 million total viewers across all platforms since it originally debuted on Feb.

A lot is happening on Rescue: Hi-Surf any given episode.

There are rescues, obviously, but we’re also seeing the personal journeys of the North Shore lifeguards as they battle rebellious teens, try to grow up, and encounter romantic challenges at every turn.

Hina and Kainalu began the series as rivals, but their short-lived rivalry gave way to a friendship and their roommate era, which is slowly ending just as their romantic journey should be ready to begin.

The latest episode of The Hunting Party saw Bex (Melissa Roxburgh), Oliver (Nick Wechsler), and Hassani (Patrick Sabongui) investigate the silo that was breached before the blast at the Pit. There, they find the aftermath of a massacre (bodies were removed), with blood stains all over a board room of sorts — with a window into a room where the inmates appear to have been taken to be experimented on for others to witness. Meanwhile, Shane (Josh McKenzie) has been pretending to be the son of a Pit scientist, Dr. Dulles (Matt Frewer), to visit him at a senior living facility, only for his real daughter to enter the picture. Below, showrunner Jake Coburn unpacks the Silo 12 mystery and teases how the season ends. Oliver says that he got a call of a breach at Silo 12 before the blast.

Was that the most surprising case of the season?

If they wanted to combine emotions with twists and turns, The Hunting Party Season 1 Episode 7 delivered with a twist on the Ted Bundy case. This was an entertaining one!

Most crime dramas love to focus on the “Who did it?” aspect of the investigation. As viewers, we’re thrust into a mystery where we’re trying to solve heinous cases alongside devoted but complicated investigators who may or may not follow the book.

Crime dramas often adopt a binary approach of “heroes” and “villains” depending on the story they’re trying to tell.

No show has the market of wild emergencies cornered like 9-1-1.

Every season brings a multi-episode opening emergency that tests the 118 and threatens to claim their lives.

From the magnificent tsunami to the bee-nado of 9-1-1 Season 8, these emergencies are always an experience.

Apart from these mega emergencies, the show also deals with weekly cases. By nature, someone is always at risk.

From regular citizens having the worst day of their lives to unsuspecting people who might become collateral, life and property are always one second away from being destroyed.

As of right now, The Hunting Party has not been renewed for Season 2.

NBC has not yet made any decisions about The Hunting Party, although the reviews so far have not been the best.

There are some great NBC shows still on the bubble. That’s nothing too major to worry about just yet, as we’re only into March. NBC has a habit of waiting until closer to the May Upfronts to make some final decisions.

However, with so many shows on the bubble, we can look at the ones likely to be renewed and canceled. While NBC doesn’t only just rely on the linear ratings, this is usually a strong indication as to whether a show will get another chance.

Something I do want to point out is that Friday and Sunday linear ratings tend to be lower than other nights, and that is something that needs to be considered when look at the ratings to determine which NBC shows could be canceled.

A couple of guys are driving along in a pickup. The driver is pleased with himself for taking a holster out of a pickup. That must be Bernadette’s gun, as he picked it up down by the river. He’s pleased with himself for being panther-like.

The older fellow driving with him proves how panther-like the driver is when he smothers him with a “have a nice day” grocery bag. He takes the gun from his waistband and shoves the car down the ravine before using the nearby bulldozer to begin dropping dirt on the truck.

The driver wakes up to this nightmare. The ravine looked much larger than the allotment of dirt, but it’s filled in entirely.

Zahn McClarnon’s tour de force performance continues on Dark Winds Season 3 Episode 2 as nefarious forces, real or imagined, lurk just beyond Joe Leaphorn’s reach.

“Náá’tosh” (Big Eyes) revealed two new guest stars known for their roles as less-than-trustworthy antagonists, as well as a grim-looking, potentially supernatural force that could be entangled in the latest mystery.

There weren’t many people unconcerned with Bernadette’s departure at the end of Dark Winds Season 2.

First, she’s a good detective; the more, the merrier with how often crime sprouts up on the reservation. Second, her relationship with Jim Chee was just beginning to take flight, and even diehard mystery fans have to admit that it was a bright light in an often dim landscape.

This was an extremely emotional hour since everyone cared about Little Jack, and saving that child’s life was of the utmost importance.

While focusing on Elizabeth’s point of view was crucial, I’m glad we also saw how his illness affected others, including the children.

Keeping Historical Elements Accurate Was Critical for This Devastating Storyline

Keeping the timeline accurate for diabetes in the 1920s was essential for this storyline. The arc was compelling as Elizabeth questioned how she could have missed the symptoms.

The serial killers have become more deranged on The Hunting Party.

It seems cold blooded to kill your bride, but Mark Marsden, aka The Widower, killed his last three wives on their wedding night.

The spoilers for The Hunting Party Season 1 Episode 7 hint that Bex and the team must decipher Mark’s new pattern when he runs off with a new fiance.

Additionally, Bex convinces Hassani that it’s better to work with Oliver as the three of them search for information about Silo 12 after Oliver confides in her.

Finally, after the cliffhanger at the end of The Hunting Party Season 1 Episode 6, we expect the series to address Shane’s family drama again.

Hopefully, we’ll learn how he’s connected to Dr. Dulles and whether Sarah is actually related to the doctor.

If you’ve been tuning into this incredible series, you’d know that Found Season 2 is, as I described it to the pair, “all gas with no brakes.”

The season has been absolute madness, as they’ve pulled out all the stops and gone in so many directions we couldn’t have anticipated.

There’s so much great TV out there, and most isn’t derived from legacy franchises.

Prime Video didn’t seem to get the memo because it continues to bring these excellent properties back to screens without the thrill of their predecessor.

The latest effort, Cruel Intentions, based on the hit movie of the same name, premiered in November 2024 and was pretty much ignored.

The 2024 version of Cruel Intentions was a below-average teen drama at best, playing out more like Max’s canceled Gossip Girl reboot, which had some redeeming qualities at the very least.

The 1999 Cruel Intentions had a compelling plot and a cast that included Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillipe, Reese Witherspoon, and Selma Blair.

As the lame follow-up movies can attest, you can’t reinvent the wheel without the cast that made it such a success in the first place.

While most episodes of The Hunting Party focused on violent serial killers before and after their release from the Pit, “Arlo Brandt” differed from the previous ones.

Played by David Ramsey (Arrow), Arlo Brandt used to hoard possessions and bodies but escaped from the Pit with a renewed purpose.

As seen on The Hunting Party Season 1 Episode 6, he’s become almost like a religious cult leader, hoping to force everyone to eliminate their possessions and become like him. It’s eerie, and it’s up to the trio to discern what’s behind his deranged mind.

Additionally, Bex gets impatient and condronts Oliver about information about Silo 12. This could affect their relationship moving forward.

Finally, Shane’s family mystery begins as he tries to learn more about what his dad knew, and someone else stops by the senior center.

I’m Worried About The Real Housewives of...

This is what Rescue: Hi-Surf should have been all along — a low-stakes, drama-filled show with a little action mixed in, messy characters, and emotional arcs that make you feel something.

That’s the show many people signed up to see.

Every story in Rescue: Hi-Surf Season 1 Episode 17 had something to offer, and in turn, the series delivered the best hour of its first season.

It could have been overwhelming with so many moving parts, but the pace worked. While many hours can feel like a slog in certain aspects, the brisk pace of this one felt natural.

And again, it’s something I wish they’d been doing all along.

Em and Cindy were the main plot of the hour, as she dealt with the arrival of boyfriend Ron and son Ethan, who were slotting themselves right into Em’s life like she hadn’t just learned of their existence.

It's confirmed that NBC is scheduled to air the next, new episode 6 of The Hunting Party's current, premiere season 1 tonight, March 10, 2025, and it will feature another deranged serial killer in action, but this one will have a newly found purpose and more. NBC's official episode 6 press release information is letting us know that this new episode 6 is officially titled, "Arlo Brandt." This episode is going to feature Arlo Brandt, Bex, the team and more in action. NBC gave us one storyline spoiler for this one. It's going to feature a character named Arlo Brandt. He used to be a hoarder, and now, he's gone down the serial killer route. He will have a newfound purpose that will entail him hunting for brand new, innocent victims.

Yes, for all of you diehard Meredith Grey fans, we can expect her to make her customary visit on Grey’s Anatomy Season 21 Episode 10.

Ellen Pompeo may have moved on from Grey’s Anatomy to pursue other things and limited her role, but she knows how to breeze back into Grey Sloan with her hot doc in tow and shake things up a bit.

Here’s the thing: Mer showing up after Lucas had such a traumatic scare feels like some great timing.

Unfortunately, based on how Grey’s Anatomy Season 21 Episode 9 handled that arc (setting aside the potential Ptsd angle), Mer is likely to breeze past this incident as if it were nothing.

One thing about Mer is that she’ll be singularly focused on the task at hand, and it’s likely something professional.

After opening with an imperfect 0% score from critics on Rotten Tomatoes,The Hunting Party has picked things up a bit and managed to improve its score to an 18%, but the show has been a bigger hit among fans, who approve at a solid 75% clip. The Hunting PartyEpisode 6 is set to premiere tonight, and it will follow Rebecca Henderson (Melissa Roxburgh) and her team on the hunt for Arlo Brandt, a hoarder-turned-serial killer who is preying on innocent victims. Collider is thrilled to partner with NBC and Peacock to deliver an exclusive sneak peek at the upcoming episode, showing the team infiltrating Arlo's shop and speaking to his wife, who seems unaware of his deviant activities. In order to find him, the team must get inside his mind and think like he does.

NBC’s The Hunting Party has the potential to become the next popular procedural since it examines the psyches of serial killers and includes the overall mystery of why they escaped the secret prison called the Pit.

It’s fascinated viewers weekly with different serial killer arcs, how the team will catch them, and what secrets each member harbors.

Hi Patrick. What intrigued you about The Hunting Party?

I thought it was an original concept.

The past three seasons of Power Book III: Raising Kanan have been tough for Raq, and it doesn’t look like things will be changing in season four.

Power Book III: Raising Kanan Season 4 Episode 1 looked back at the events of season three through a different lens, and it was a difficult time for Raq, who had some secrets she was carrying.

The tension and estrangement between Raq and Kanan was still pronounced and showed no signs of thawing, and that relationship will once again be at the forefront of the Power spinoff.
