    No romance

Another day and another mediocre Reel One Entertainment TV movie. This one targets unmarried upper middle class millenial girls over 30 who are finding themselves for example in travelling through Europe. Yes, every ROE TV movie has actress as main lead and her story is always in the centre, and there is nothing wrong in that. It maybe sounds revolutionary but there are some members of the opposite sex who like to watch them because most romance movies are feel good movies.

But first, let's talk about technical issues as ROE TV movies are notorious for it. There was basically almost none. Few scenes had a bit of loud background music, and NYC stock footage was minimal - it was obviously shot in Hamilton, Canada like so many other times.

Cast was overall ok. E. Kabongo was low energy and depressed almost whole movie, he had zero chemistry with Kaitlyn Leeb but I can't blame him for the weak writing and the lack of directing.

This movie just like "A Playful Love" suffers from the indentity crisis - messy writing and no directing. There is barely any romance no matter what trailer shows and that is basically all the romance you are going to see anyway. Most of the movie is poor comedy with some drama later which is too bad as it actually had potential to be a good drama. Lets get back to what I mentioned - even the main lead is always about her, at least we always see his side of the story. This time we found out almost nothing about Daniel Rose. He was treated like supporting cast.

Whole movie is one big disappointment because there are no technical issues like in so many other ROE TV movie, so save your valuable time and watch trailer as it shows everything anyway, and watch something else.

    Fun and charming movie

I loved this light-hearted charming story and the cast of relatable characters who are juggling life and work and family and friends and the pressures of status and of expectation all while navigating towards love. The writing was witty and fun and is a great combination of humour and tension mixed with characters who you're rooting for, though all the ups and downs and challenges along the way. The setting was vibrant and exciting, this is beautifully filmed. The diversity of the characters and casting was refreshing and relatable. I highly recommend this fun, light hearted and enjoyable movie.

    Romance and so much more!

This is a perfectly paced, engaging, character driven romcom with true heart, warmth and wit! Despite her initial Princess qualities, lead character Paige's self deprecating humour and vulnerability makes you root for her to succeed. Kaitlyn Leeb brings great coming timing to her role. For me, what really elevates this romcom is the strong female friendships, there's great chemistry between Kaitlyn and fellow actress Kimberley-Ann Truong and lovely comic deadpan from Kelly Mc Namee - overall beautifully written and performed. Thematically, this film explores parental pressures and how to break away and write your own story. Highly recommend!
