I didnt watch this on theatre after watching few negative reviews , i regret to watch the reviews after watched on OTT , whole family liked it .it is not loud laugh riot entertainer but a very good movie for your calm evening. I felt Director did a great job , apt casting , good background score . A lesson learned not to follow reviewers . Balu Varghese got his best role to date , every character fit to the role , from the very experienced ever perfect Urvashi to any single scene characters., Director got a bright future , he may shine better with mystery thrillers , I like the way he narrated it.

Plus: 1. Performances (Kalayarasan, balu varghese, urvashi, abhija shivakala and bhanu ) 2. Amazing sound design & Bgm 3. Cinematography (colour patterns) 4. Bold concept (with many unconventional ideas & dialogues) 5. High detailing in every scene 6. Witty black humour 7. Nil songs; Nil cinematic clichès

Minus: 1. Some slow paced scenes in the first half

Bottomline: Director subhash lalitha subrahmanian succeeds in his first eccentric experimentation with a unique style in filmmaking. But 'Charles enterprises'is not your regular popcorn flick. So commercial movie fans & conservative audiences- pls stay away from theatres.

I loved this malayalam movie, urvashi & kalayarasan acted well. The story, the imagination was very good and it kept me intact for the whole duration. This movie isn't just a time pass, it leaves one with quite a few questions to ponder upon.

Charles enterprises.. is a slow paced but a brilliant movie where the master craftsman sits on top of the world and creates a satirical art piece that laughs at the life's moralities, beliefs and its preconceived notions and in process explores and celebrates the grand organised chaos of the very existence itself... Again a movie that is well beyond its time in malayalam cinema.. DOP : very good Songs: One title song is brilliant and remains all are average Editing: Average Art : Good BGM : brilliant

A Feel good movie to watch. The background music, songs are soulful, Each & every character is very well weaved... Gomathi, charlse, ravi, parvvatham, bakery sales girl, sharvanan, vilasini, kumaraswami... Etc

Kalayarasan as usual is flawless, he is the talented actor in tamil cinema today. Balu has also essayed his role to perfection.

The first half took some time to get into the story. But the second half has managed to overcome that. The movie has been beautifully shot. Therefore, you will not feel any boredom anywhere.

I watched this movie on Amazon Prime yesterday.. It would have been great if this movie was actually made in Hindi. The plot of this movie is really a north indian look. Director Subhash Lalitha Subrahmanian has succeeded in creating it.

My family and I liked the movie very much. This is never a movie that blindly supports Bhakti. It is a movie that really shows the good side of Bhakti. The base of the movie is the same whether you replace Ganesha with Isha or any other god.

The music side of the movie and the camera are cool. Title songil Everything about the previous story of the idol is good. Urvashi and Baluvarghese are playing good . But the best is the Tamil actor who played Charles.
