Shiro Seijo to Kuro Bokushi was released on Blu-ray and DVD in three volumes from September 6, 2023, to December 27, 2023.
Based on a fantasy romantic comedy manga series written and illustrated by Hazano Kazutake. It was serialized in Kodansha's Shounen Magazine R online magazine from April 2017 to January 2023, when the magazine was disbanded, and was transferred to the Monthly Maga Kichi website in February 2023.
The first two episodes received an early screening at a special event on July 8, 2023 at Shinjuku Wald 9 in Tokyo. The regular TV broadcast started on July 13, 2023.
