This is easy-mode version of a Kdrama. Nothing too sophisticated nor tense. Just a gentle view thru the eyes of 4 friends since college: one a Super Model, one a rising designer, one a photographer and one working for a luxury fashion PR firm.
I had issues with the first half of the series...it wasn't bad just not very engaging. It just plodded along with the lives of these 4 friends. The romance threads were minimal, there was no mystery to solve or suspense thread being developed...just the lives of the main characters.
But finally, ep 4 introduces a new character that seems to kick start the series. Various interesting storylines are kicked off and the character development finally shifts out of neutral.... I could finally start caring about the main characters.
One thing I really liked about the series was that it was not filled with toxic side-characters. While there were certainly a few self-absorbed characters to dislike, most of the characters in power positions were actually decent people that would recognize talent and provide opportunities for newcomers to demonstrate what they could do.
Makes a decent palate cleanse between more sophisticated or intense Kdramas.

I loved this show for the same reason that I loved Hospital Playlist. It's so real without it being over dramatic with villains and bunch of unnecessary obstacles for the hero and heroine. It does justice for showing the unseen hard work behind the fashion industry not just the model or the fashion designer. The duration of 8 episodes are perfect for the plot and the characteristics being shown. It's a relaxing show, where you can just enjoy the characters, acting and the vibe of the plot. No intense emotions or criticality. The good thing is every character was given their own important screen time without being overshadowed by a particular "hero" or "heroine". It was just like what happens in real life. Happy ending for some, not so happy ending for some, beginning of new journey for some and uncertainties in life for some.
When a Korean drama aspire to become American-Koran fusion drama = not good.
The actors played very well even though the writing was basic.
If you already watched American drama's before in your life, you've already seen this plot. Nothing new.
Wasn't boring, but definitely basic and predictable. Like many many others American series.
Even though the production was extremely good and wealthy, Netflix failed at the end.
In my opinion, when I want to see Korean drama, I don't want to see American basic one. K-drama is so different, unique, with romance and great characters, If I wanted to watch this kind of plot, I would choose "The bold type".

I love the camping and bathroom scenes, and when the fl kicked the ml when the four of them gather at her house. Their chemistry is top notch, so natural, and makes you want what they have. It makes you forget for a moment that you're watching a drama. And i love the male lead's changing expressions throughout the episodes. Conveying his emotions without lines. Thumbs up. I plan to watch it slowly, but ended watched all episodes all at once. And also the scenes with her grandma is lovely. Love the cinematography.
I have so many questions about the male lead's background story. How wealthy is he living in that nice apartment and having that nice red car? How he's good at DJing? I want to see him explaining some pictures with some technical words. I want to see more about his relationship with the second fl. Does Netflix keeps these for Season 2? I have to watch again for the third time.
Despite how i enjoy the friendship's story, some characters are not needed, with all due respect to the actors. (Weird waiter turned model?) Without them, the story will be more compact and focused on the main story without unnecessary distractions.
Lovely drama. A must watch for holidays and weekends.

Could be the name of this lil' K-Drama 8 episode series. It's very similar to, "Emily in Paris", with Chae Soo-bin playing the lead character. It's the reason we watched this series after seeing her in, "Where Stars Land", a highly recommended series and plays a similar character. Surprised it was only 8 episodes, thought it could have gone on for the usual 16 episodes, especially with 4 main characters, it could have explored their backgrounds in much more detail, but it revolved mainly around Chae Soon-bin character, who has the customary more than one suitor, trying to juggle her work life with her love lives and they intertwined on a regular basis.
