Shards of Her was an intense thrill ride and keeps you gripped. Episode one sets it up, but the spike starts at episode two and beyond. I enjoyed the acting from these well known Taiwanese actress/actors. The mystery is so thick you can cut it with a knife. The cinematography is well done and the sets representative of the time period.
Despite these elements, I did find the last segments a bit draggy and frustrating that no one is communicating properly. I found it quite irriating waiting for the secret to be revealed (although the secret is becoming more obvious as each moment passes).
Good thriller/drama.

My wife and I were disappointed in episode one with everything going on. We even waited for three weeks to watch something else and come back. But oh man, it speeds up after episode 2 and 3, and the plot takes a huge turn, even feel like a completely different show. The acting, storyline, relationships are strong and touching. I would highly recommend keeping going on even if you don't like the first episode. It's very worthy and meaningful to many people around us.
Don't give up, just like the show suggest. Please stand with and support all the victims around the world. Very good Taiwanese show.

Before I watched this Shards of Her, I watched Pieces of Her. Very similar title, and gave a similar feeling. The thing about finding pieces is it is can be very boring. :)
This can be said about this title (and the similar title above). The series can be very slow and boring, and up to the mid, we are guessing about the direction of this series. Up to the first two or three, I was not even sure what it was about: time travel, schizo, parallel universe, or what.
But to the mid, I began to get it, especially after that scene about that pretty boy in the office. This series is about sexual harassment, which was presented very well. It is then beginning to feel like a documentary, which I quite like. It even tells a bit of why the predators did what they did.
I think the most powerful episode was the last one.
And, I have not watched Taiwanese production since Meteor Garden, so not familiar with the casts, but I think the best performance was not delivered by the main woman, but that other female victim. Somehow, I thought the series could be better if she was the main cast, but I understand her age would not fit the narrative of the story. Still, she is acted the best, and also looks the best.
Anyway, now you know what this series is about, it is up to you if this is your cup or not. Again, the reason I am writing this is to applaud the series effort to deliver message about abuse, which happens daily in our world.

I read reviews here and there's a 1/10 review and I couldnt say he's totally wrong. I hv the same feeling after finishing episode one and want to give up given such a non sense. But after the car accident and storyline goes into a completely different world it just start becoming interesting. Is it a parallel world? Is what happen before is a hypothetical situation ? Is that a dream? Things didn't make sense and add up all in a sudden. Her boyfriend from a business world transformed to become a cop, that didn't explain. While watching, things becoming clear bit by bit and it is quite a kinda situation happened in Chinese society. I love the meaningful behind and Taiwanese drama didn't always convey a message and this is the one too.
A series where the plot is like a parallel world. Play with the heroine's lost memories. And came into existence in the new world The story progresses through the drama of the lives and wounds of the characters that gradually fade away. Revealing the past Expose social problems that primarily affect women. The mystery theme mixed with murder investigations helps to make the story more interesting. Before being tied together to answer the truth well Even if it's overly exaggerated enough (But it's acceptable) is another quality series of Taiwan where the writing skill is not falling at all. If anyone has always liked the Taiwanese series of Netflix, you can watch it.
