Darkness and faith; an excellent combination.

Excellent horror short film, unique and terrifying, that manages to capture the viewer's attention through the use of curiosity and morbidity, while playing with the faith and hope of a religious person. It is admirable how the director has used the presence of the creature and the ambiguous power of darkness to create an atmosphere of tension and fear, without resorting to sudden or unnecessary scares. Instead, he has skillfully handled darkness and uncertainty to keep the audience on edge. The setting and atmosphere generated by the scarcity of lighting, excessive darkness, and eerie tone, along with the presence of the terrifying creature, contribute significantly to the creation of such a spine-chilling work. My congratulations to the director for such an impressive work.

    Masterpiece !

The Portrait of God is an unsettling horror video that plays on the fear of the unknown. The concept of God is often seen as benevolent, but this short film twists that perception, making divinity something terrifying. The horror lies not in jump scares but in the eerie, existential dread it creates. The idea that God might not be loving but something beyond human comprehension-something cold, indifferent, or even evil-is the most terrifying aspect. The slow reveal, the disturbing atmosphere, and the creeping realization of something truly beyond human control make this one of the scariest horror shorts out there.

    exceptional

One of impressive religious short films. For fair solution , for gentle manner to remind old truths , for acting. A young woman prepairing a sociological/ psychological project about a painting, in fact a picture of it.

    Her intro.

New try for the best time of presentation.

And the changes, more powerful, thrilling.

The end reminds , in admirable manner, long chain of iluminations , in Romano- Catholic tradition , in form of extasis.

In short, a great film, brilliant crafted, surprising inspired , offering a large fist of dubts, questions and nuanced definition of faith.

So, exceptional , in so many senses.

Best Horror Short I've Seen Yet.

This is the first Review I am writing on this Website just because I think this short deserves to be seen by a lot more people.

I love watching horror movies and shorts but most of them don't scare me anymore. It's just a fun spooky ride.

But this one right here... man this was unexpected.

In my eyes it's perfect execution of an interesting premise. Left me with goosebumps.

No cheap jumpscares just pure subtle horror and suspense through the whole thing.

I would love to see a movie or even a series about this.

Only thing left to say is give it a try if you're into horror cause you are about to go on a 7 minute ride.

A really powerful horror short film

There is of course the ever-present fear of something horrifying lurking in the shadows.

Beyond that, there is the confrontation of beliefs and reality, and the mixing of the two. Is this an epiphany ? Or perhaps the beginning of a renewed belief. Or its end ?

I really like the multiple layers of themes here and there which give you thoughts, way more than most of the horror movies nowadays.

Moreover, there are no jumpscares, which are overused in modern horror movies.

The director is a very young and talented film maker. I really hope he will continue to offer us this kind of horror, more dreadful than startling.
