    A Mental Coach

The drama kicked off with a solid start, drawing its audience with a compelling premise and a cast of captivating characters. In the first half, emotions ran high as we were watching the dynamics between coaches and athletes. The character development was superb, and the storyline was peppered with unexpected well written materials that sat the expectations high for what's to come. However, as the drama progressed into its second half, it seemed to lose some of its momentum. The pacing felt uneven, with certain plotlines dragging on longer than necessary while others seemed rushed and unresolved. The writing got a bit lazier and less profound. It couldn't deliver the same impact as the first half, even with its climax. Despite these shortcomings, the drama still had its moments of brilliance, particularly in its character development and for its strong promising start.

Not Positive - too Violent for an Olympic Themed Series

I usually try to give positive reviews, but it is not my favorite series. I was excited to watch it when I read the description and started it, and from the beginning it bothered me that there was so much physical abuse to the point of suicide portrayed between coach and athletes. I have no idea if there is any shred of truth in this script or not - I hope not as that would disappoint me to know that. Being from the US I have only heard of one famous incidence of this but it was between athlete vs. Athlete, not coach vs. Athlete. I know it is supposed to be an inspirational series, however I didn't get too much real inspiration out of it until the 9th episode. Thank goodness for the 9th episode because so far that was the best episode where positivity takes over and gives me hope for some kind of a turnaround for the athletes. The lead actor could have been cast better as he was a little too dorky for me IMO in both appearance and behaviors since there are suggestions of a possible crush one way or the other and might have been a better choice to choose someone a little more athletic looking/cooler attitude himself. The series continues to have more and more violence, more stories about rape, ending not to my liking and didn't the psychological coach psychologically abuse his own student FML by PDA in front of her with someone else w/o talking to her first? Men are all the same.

This TV series is the story of Russian short track speed skater Viktor Ahn.

The main character is a woman, but the drama is a story of Viktor Ahn (Ahn Hyun-soo), a six-time Olympic champion short track speed skater who is considered the best player in short track history. He was a member of the Korean national team at the age of 16, and won a gold medal, but later suffered a mysterious injury after his coach chose an unwanted business team. He was subsequently ostracized by his faction, and his stories are mixed into the characters and episodes of the play. Both his anecdote that he was assaulted at the time of the tournament, that His junior was more assaulted while protecting him, and him being ostracized by other factions are all part of his stories.

The TV series also talks about Shim Suk-hee and Korean female short-track speed skaters, as well as the problems of the Korean National team trials.

This Korean TV series is bound to be violent because it deals with the human right issues. This TV series also emphasizes mental coaching. However, there is a problem with the Sports system.
