During the heist Cobby (Affleck) calls Rory (Damon) Mr Longabaugh. This was the real name of the Sundance Kid.
One of several collaborations between Matt Damon and Casey Affleck, with the other films being Chasing Amy (1997), Good Will Hunting (1997), Ocean's Eleven (2001), Gerry (2002), Ocean's Twelve (2004), Ocean's Thirteen (2007), Interstellar (2014), Oppenheimer (2023) and Manchester by the Sea (2016) - in this latter film Affleck was the leading actor and Damon was the film producer.
The studio took the original door Malachy's Saloon back to Hollywood in case they needed to do any reshoots. The company replaced the door for free.
