French comedy. State approved

Well, this is another French comedy. Of course, how can anybody create without a State commission behind? So with the stamp of approval from the old guys of the cinematography, this is entertainment for the masses. If you can take it.

"Magistrale" demonstration of efficiency

This series has become cult in France.

The local accents, the vocabulary used, the attitudes... everything is very finely executed

the acting, the direction, the soundtrack, its timing and the photography...

References to other cult works (from classic cinema to Japanese anime)

everything is perfectly tuned and executed

the seemingly crude humor is actually very sharp.

To appreciate it at its true value you must of course be French...

Today, it is certain that it is the best French comedy series.

All performed with ridiculous motens.

A brilliant demonstration of efficiency which I sincerely hope should be taught in French film schools.
