Rather, it was the sixth episode of hit YouTube series “Surrounded,” from Jubilee Media, the independent L.A. production company behind other social experiments like “Middle Ground” and “Swipe or Swap.”

With episode titles like “Can 1 Woke Teen Survive 20 Trump Supporters?” and “Can 25 Liberal College Students Outsmart 1 Conservative?,” the series has gone viral since its September debut, racking up more than 50 million views on YouTube and dominating social media feeds.

Dream Theater have detailed a new vinyl box set, Dream Theater Vol. 1, that houses their studio albums released during the 1990s. The 7-lp collection is set to drop on September 27th via Rhino.

The first of three planned box set releases, Vol. 1 charts the prog-metal legends’ most critically lauded decade, the ’90s, picking up after vocalist James Labrie joined the band in 1991.

Spread across seven discs, the box set includes: Images and Words (1992); Awake (1994); Falling Into Infinity (1997); and Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory (1999). They’re housed in a slipcase featuring new artwork from the band’s longtime collaborator Hugh Syme.

Exclusive: Anonymous Content on Wednesday announced its signing of director Anthony Mandler.

Most recently, Mandler directed and produced the MGM Western drama Surrounded, starring Letitia Wright, Jamie Bell and the late Michael K. Williams, which premiered at the Sun Valley Film Festival and was released digitally in June 2023.

Up next, he’s set to direct the psychological thriller Head Games, starring Samuel L. Jackson and Henry Golding — a film scripted by Colin Liddle that’s scheduled to go into production in Rome in October.

The comedians’ sets were filmed at the 2023 Just For Laughs Montréal Comedy Festival. The format sees the audience inspiring the jokes, with everyone fair game. It originated as a stand-up comedy show created by Mike Falzone before being adapted for the Metaverse.

“Law & Order” star Jeffrey Donovan will not be returning to the NBC procedural, an individual with knowledge told TheWrap.

Donovan, who starred as Det. Frank Cosgrove in the show, won’t be back for the 23rd installment of the drama. According to TVLine, who first reported the news, Donovan exited the show due to creative reasons.

Joining the Dick Wolf series in Season 21, the former “Burn Notice” star remained on the series through Season 22 before exiting ahead of Season 23. Donovan is the latest “Law & Order” actor to exit the series, after Anthony Anderson left the show after Season 21. Anderson was replaced with Mehcad Brooks, who played Jalen Shaw in Season 22.

Hailing from Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, “Law & Order” also features a main cast including Sam Waterston as Da Jack McCoy, Hugh Dancy as senior prosecutorial assistant Nathan Price and Camryn Manheim as Lt.

The 71-year-old pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute narcotics in April and will be sentenced for the crime later this month. The court's probation office is recommending a 10-year sentence.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever star Letitia Wright said it was a challenge to play Shuri in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film given the emotional weight placed on the Academy Award-winning sequel.

Speaking with ComicBook.com about her upcoming Western drama film, Surrounded, Wright expressed how much more difficult it was to play Shuri in Wakanda Forever than it was in the original Black Panther movie. According to Wright, she had to channel a different energy from her normal self in Wakanda Forever to properly channel the feelings her character dealt with following the passing of T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman). "So, in the second film, those are completely different emotions from what she carried in the first film," she said. "But it's a different energy than what I usually carry. I am light-hearted and fun. I am. Let me give myself some credit. But maintaining that energy all the time is quite difficult.

During an exclusive chat with People, star Letitia Wright reflected on working with the "amazing" Michael K. Williams on Surrounded, the actor's final film before his death back in September of 2021. According to the Black Panther star, getting to work with the late actor on Surrounded was an honor for Wright.

Wright told the outlet that she knew the "amazing artist" from projects like The Wire and HBO's The Night Of. Wright added that Williams' was also mentioned while the Surrounded filmmakers were on a Zoom call discussing who they wanted to cast as their mysterious character.

Black Panther actor Letitia Wright is heading to the Wild West for the action-packed drama Surrounded, which explores the complex issue of shared trauma. Wright portrays former Buffalo Soldier Moses "Mo" Washington, who must keep an eye on the captured outlaw Tommy Walsh (Jamie Bell) after her stagecoach is attacked by Tommy's men. The surviving passengers search for help while Mo makes sure Tommy doesn't escape; however, the two start to bond during their time together. Directed by Anthony Mandler, the film also stars Jeffrey Donovan and the late Michael K. Williams.

Cbr sat down with Wright, Bell, and Mandler and found out more about their experience working on Surrounded. The actors opened up about the relationship between their complicated characters and their respective journeys. Mandler described the process of subverting western tropes in the story, while also treating the film as a character study about trauma and its effects on people.

The well of wild west stories still hasn't dried up. While we've seen the same old tropes and plot beats time and time again, contemporary filmmakers have tested their mettle in the sprawling expanse, returning to the big screen with unique twists on classic stories. A drug dealer directly linked to the 2021 overdose death of actor Michael K. Williams has pleaded guilty, potentially facing up to four decades behind bars.

As per the Department of Justice press release, quoting U.S. Attorney Damian Williams, “Irvin Cartagena sold fentanyl-laced heroin in broad daylight in New York City, feeding addiction and causing tragedy. In doing so, he dealt the fatal dose that killed Michael K. Williams.” The attorney elaborated on the effects, citing not just the tragic death of Williams, but the too-common instances of overdoses across the country. “This Office and our law enforcement partners will continue to hold accountable the dealers who push this poison, exploit addiction, and cause senseless death in our community.” According to the National Safety Council, fentanyl-related deaths saw an increase of more than 25% in 2021 from 2020.

Jamie Bell will star alongside Emmy Award-winner Elisabeth Moss and Wagner Moura in Shining Girls, a new metaphysical thriller based on the 2013 best-selling novel by Lauren Beukes. The series will be adapted for television and executive produced by Silka Luisa, who also serves as showrunner.

Moss star as a Chicago reporter who survived a brutal assault only to find her reality shifting as she hunts down her attacker with Moura who will play a veteran journalist breaking the widening story of a copycat attack.
