Tom Brady's Super Bowl jersey, that curiously went missing after the New England Patriots won the big game in February, was recovered in Mexico on Monday, according to the Mexican Editorial Organization. The newspaper company said in a statement that both Brady's Super Bowl Li and Super Bowl Xlix jerseys were recovered, along with a Denver Broncos helmet believed to belong to Von Miller.

The organization identified the suspect as international newspaper director Mauricio Ortega, who has since resigned from his job.

Additionally, Houston Police are authenticating the stolen valuables, police chief Art Avecedo revealed on Monday.

"Proud @houstonpolice Major Offenders Divison traced Brady Jersey to Mexico & it has been recovered with help of FBI & Mexican authorities," the policeman wrote on Twitter.

With just five weeks left in the NFL season, the countdown to Super Bowl 50 continues, as the playoff picture starts to become clearer. While we won't know who will be playing in the big game until next month, a new report from Deadline reveals the popular rock group Coldplay will be performing during the Super Bowl halftime show. The Super Bowl news is expected to be officially announced during tonight's Thursday Night Football match up between the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions on the NFL Network.

The site reports that Coldplay won't be the only musical act performing during the 20-minute halftime show, with CBS reportedly planning to showcase multiple acts that will span different musical eras, to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of this sporting event. It isn't known if any of the other musical acts will be announced during Thursday Night Football tonight, so stay tuned for more details.

The Guardians of the Galaxy star lost his Super Bowl Xlix bet to Chris Evans when his team, the Seattle Seahawks, fell to Captain America's preferred New England Patriots. So on Friday, Pratt put on his Star-Lord costume and paid a visit to Evans' chosen charity, Christopher's Haven in Boston, and as previously agreed upon, he wore a Tom Brady #12 jersey!
