Madanolsavam

Madanolsavam (Odyssey) is a quirky little family drama centered around a naivete. He's an average Joe and lives with his aunt. Things take a turn and change his life forever when he gets embroiled in a conspiracy unbeknownst to his knowledge. There are shoots of humour in the film that has characters eerily familiar to us in Kerala, yet with fresh writing that has become the backbone of Malayalam cinema in recent years. Suraj V is phenomenal as the central character but I was more amused by Babu Anthony's role here, which has a similarity with a real-life person prominent in Kerala. Although the film meanders in the middle, it manages to hit the right spot at the end. A good watch.

I found the movie to be an engaging political drama with a fresh storyline and entertaining humor. Suraj delivered an impressive performance, perfectly embodying his character. The new actress, Bhama, made a remarkable screen debut, showcasing her talent with great screen presence. Additionally, PP Kunjikrishnan and Rajesh Madhavan shone in their roles, demonstrating their acting prowess and promising a bright future in the Malayalam movie industry. Also it's great to see Babu Antony back in Malayalam after a long interval. Overall, the movie offers an enjoyable cinematic experience that is sure to captivate audiences.

This one is thru the roof😀😀😀 what an enjoyable watch. Really well made except for ending which am ready to forget coz that takes nearly 2 hours right?

What a unique plot and how well is the movie designed and shot. Top class actually. Suraj as always is solid and this guy's transformation from a comedy star to the main role is to be seen to be believed.

While the whole cast does great work, let me point out Rajesh Madhavan who is superb as also Kunhikrishnan. This guy just kills it with his portrayal 😅

Rajesh Azhikodan is stunning with his smile. I am like so impressed by his acting and the unique character he played. Bhama Arun is very good and I hope she gets more stuff.

Overall a lovely watch and highly recommended. True Malyalam movie with the core intact😀

"madanolsavam" a nice comedy political satire"

amazing performances by all the actors. Suraj venjaramood, bhama arun, rajesh madhavan, all were amazing. The most impressive part is the writing as characters are really enjoyable and connecting throughout the movie. The jokes work mostly, but were not complete laugh out loud moments. An engaging and enjoyable watch according to me.

The issue with the movie is that climax couldn't land an effective impact. Comparing it with Ratheesh Balakrishna poduvals previous movie "naa thaan case kodu", this movie fails to create a similar impact. This movie is also basically man vs system but the way he wins the system is not enjoyable satisficing enough.
