What do we really want from our prisons? Do we want them to punish or rehabilitate? And how do we achieve this?

These are the questions that Prisoners asks it audience, using a blend of poetry and drama to do so. With Britain's most famous Prisoner Charles Bronson, once labeled as Britain's most violent prisoner. Now Charles Salvador, award winning author, poet and artist, who talks about his own experiences within prison and how he worked to rehabilitate while inside, despite the barriers that prisoners face.

Although only a short film it is one that will leave you questioning what do you think for long after it has finished.

Charles Salvador (previously known as Charles Bronson) agreed to be part of this film after a letter was sent to him by the creator Siobhon Taylor. He had never even met or spoken to Siobhon before filming began.
