When Rob Richards calls Allison to offer her a job interview, he says that he is the manager at Saucy Jack's in Fairview. Saucy Jack was one of the nicknames used for the 1888 serial killer Jack the Ripper.
The scenes taking place in the SaveMore grocery store were filmed at different locations. Shots of grocery aisles took place at the Harvest Moon Natural Market in Canton, GA. The video rental section of the store that Desmond works at were filmed at Videodrome in Atlanta, GA. Some scenes were filmed using green screen.
