Featured review
Wry, fresh, and expertly executed, "Pickle" will pull you in from its opening shot 'til the final frame. It feels like an "After Hours," for this age, with nods to the Coen Brothers, but with a style and flair all its own. Great locations and a strong cast deliver on the promise of a night gone wrong. "Pickle" channels all the angst and anxiety of this generation, but with self-awareness that lets you know it doesn't take itself too seriously. Fantastic editing, music direction, sound quality, and casting. Strong directing from a new young director/writer/actor I'll be keeping my eye on. Enjoy!
