In Suits, Harvey Specter had mommy issues. In the upcoming spinoff Suits LA, Stephen Amell's Ted Black will have some serious daddy issues.

TVLine has shared two first-look images of Matt Letscher in the role of Ted's father, who will debut in the series premiere this Sunday.One image just shows Letscher as Ted's father, while the second shows Amell's Ted laying into his father with his finger inches from his chest. Letscher and Amell are both known for their respective roles in The CW's Arrowverse as Reverse-Flash and Green Arrow, although Letscher told Deadline during the red carpet premiere of Suits LA that he had never met Amell before working together on the spinoff.

In the age of modern television, there's nothing quite like "Suits." It was a popular show that had a healthy nine season run on USA Network, even generating a short-lived spin-off in the form of "Pearson." Then, years later, "Suits" found new life out of nowhere on Netflix as viewers began binge-watching the show, many for the first time. It's truly one of the weird little miracles of the streaming era. It also means that more recent viewers have lingering questions. For one, what the heck was the deal with the can opener?

One of the running gags in the show involves Gabriel Macht's Harvey and Sarah Rafferty's Donna. For the duo, a can opener was regularly employed as part of a pre-trial ritual. Yet, it was never fully explained in the show itself. It seemed very random and raised eyebrows.

AnnaSophia Robb has been cast in a lead role of the NBC drama pilot “Grosse Pointe Garden Society,” Variety has learned.

NBC ordered the pilot back in February. The logline states, “Four members of a suburban garden club, all from different walks of life, get caught up in murder and mischief as they struggle to make their conventional lives bloom.”

Robb will star as Alice, described as “your favorite high school English teacher, a dreamer whose best dreams are crashing down on her. She’s a longtime member of the Grosse Pointe Garden Society.”

Robb’s recent credits include Season 1 of “Dr. Death” at Peacock as well as both “The Act” and “Little Fires Everywhere” at Hulu. Her other TV credits include “Mercy Street” and “The Carrie Diaries.” In features, she has starred in projects like “Lansky,” “Words on Bathroom Walls,” “Soul Surfer,” “The Way Way Back,” and “Bridge to Terabithia.
