Wedding time! Love Is Blind is finally living up to its name.

The Season 8 reunion on Sunday, March 9, was full of surprises and happy moments. The one that took the cake was that Season 6 star Amber Desiree “Ad” Smith and Ollie Sutherland, who appeared on season 1 of Love Is Blind: UK, are engaged.

Sure, they’re both young, famous, and attractive, but we don’t often see successful actresses pairing off with serial reality stars.

Yes, this particular pairing has Lucy’s fans feeling baffled and a bit concerned.

That’s mainly because Harry’s romantic drama has been well-documented on shows like Too Hot to Handle and Perfect Match.

Perfect Match takes singles that couldn't quite get things right on their first shot at "reality love" and gives them another chance to find love in front of the camera. It was a no-brainer for production company Kinetic Content to re-purpose the singles featured on their popular shows such as Love is Blindand The Ultimatum and attempt to squeeze any additional ratings or viral moments from them. It was no shock to see Amber Desiree affectionately nicknamed "Ad" from season 6 pop up on Perfect Match. Audiences empathized with her heartbreak from Clay Gravesande after watching her hold out hope the entire season in the pods. Ad showed up in the sexiest version of bridal white possible before a groom who immediately complimented her body, but ultimately rejected her heart.

Several cast members from the eighth season of the Netflix reality dating show Love Is Blind gathered for the reunion special to spill the tea about the season and everything that has happened since. There were plenty of revelations, some confrontations, and new details revealed.

One piece of information disclosed at the reunion was the engagement of two former cast members. Many suspected this might be Mason and Meg, who confirmed they were dating after the pods. But it isn’t anyone fans would have expected, and the couple crosses over from two country versions of the show along with another reality series that also streams on Netflix.
