Jesse Lee Soffer's exit still stings for a large contingency of Chicago Pd fans. The actor's decision to step away from the procedural drama led to a series of writing decisions that rubbed a lot of viewers the wrong way. Soffer's character, Jay Halstead quit the Iu and effectively abandoned his wife, Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos), whom he would eventually divorce.
This did not really gel with the Halstead that we had gotten to know and love, and the fact that Upton left Chicago Pd a season later meant we would never get the chance to see them reconcile, or come to terms with their split. A reconciliation, however, may be in store for Soffer's new character on FBI: International.

The last time we saw the team, they had taken down an evangelical preacher who was on the run and seeking asylum. Despite them running into difficulties nabbing him, they kept going, especially once he went after the daughter of one of his disciples. Once the case was over, Mitchell came face to face with someone from his past. We’ll find out more about what she is in town for when a new episode airs on Tuesday, April 1.
Mitchell's past comes to light in new episode “The Kill Floor” – A member of the Fly Team goes missing as the hunt for Greg Csonka continues in Paris.

The job that these FBI agents do can be dangerous, and that’s highlighted in the promo for the next episode of one of Dick Wolf‘s shows. Moonbug, the family content machine behind the Netflix juggernaut “Cocomelon,” has enacted a small round of layoffs.
Sources estimated that less than 5% of the company will be impacted, and that pink slips will come for roles in Los Angeles and London. Another source said the brunt of downsizing will hit in-house writers for series and other content, and the company will pivot to a freelance model for those jobs.
“As we continue to plan for 2025 and beyond, we are making changes to our studio team to allow us to be more nimble across aspects of our productions. This means a small number of roles across London and L.A. will be impacted. We’re deeply grateful for the contributions of these employees and wish them nothing but the best,” a spokesperson for Moonbug told Variety.

Netflix’s original shows and movies typically dominate the streamer’s most-viewed content rankings. But it still serves up hundreds of millions of hours of content licensed from third parties, as shown by Netflix’s massive data dump for viewing covering the first half of 2024.
Not surprisingly, kids content continues to fare well — extremely well. No. 1 on the TV side is perennial preschool favorite “CoComelon,” from Moonbug Entertainment, which pulled in 124.5 million views in aggregate. And that doesn’t include the two seasons of “CoComelon Lane” (34.4 million), which is a Netflix original produced by Moonbug. In addition, Moonbug’s “Little Angel” series garnered 52.4 million views over its five volumes.
Following “CoComelon” was another children’s TV staple: British animated show “Peppa Pig,” with 117.4 million views over six seasons. “Young Sheldon,” the spinoff the “The Big Bang Theory” that just ended its run on CBS last spring, came in strong with...
