Life has been nothing short of an adventure for Angelina Jolie. The Hollywood actress dismantled the label of nepotism and quickly made the industry her own by proving her worth on screen and off. As a star, she was indomitable, fierce, and incredibly seductive, and these traits went on to be the signature of Hollywood’s first female action star.

Meanwhile, Taylor Sheridan struggled for nearly 25 years as a struggling actor, not finding a foothold in the industry just as Jolie rose to the peak of her stardom. When he finally recognized his own potential as a writer, Sheridan cooked up a handful of scripts that shook Hollywood out of its monotony and changed the industry forever.
The conjunction of Sheridan and Jolie was, thus, supposed to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the studio and producers. However, their...

Fans will no longer see Chris Pratt in Taylor Sheridan's next feature film, but many will be familiar with the Guardians of the Galaxy star's replacement.
Taylor Sheridan is best known for writing and creating Western TV shows such as Yellowstone, Landman, and 1923, but he does have directing experience, sitting in the director's chair for 2017's Wind River (which he considers his directorial debut despite technically directing a 2011 horror title) and Those Who Wish Me Dead in 2021.
However, since then, the writing mastermind has focused on writing, creating, and directing TV shows for Paramount. Sheridan currently has eight television projects in active development, with more likely on the way, but it seems he still wants to turn some attention back to the big screen.

The “elevated” psychological thriller The Surfer, starring Nicolas Cage, received a six minute standing ovation when it screened at the Cannes Film Festival last year, and a wider audience will have the chance to watch this ovation-inspiring film when Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions give it a theatrical release on May 2nd. Today, a trailer has arrived online to give us a taste of the “sun-beaten terror” this film will be bringing to the screen in just a couple of months, and you can check it out in the embed above.
Lorcan Finnegan (Vivarium) directed The Surfer from a screenplay by Thomas Martin. Here’s the synopsis: When a man (Cage) returns to his beachside hometown in Australia, many years since building a life for himself in the U.S., he is humiliated in front of his teenage son by a local gang of surfers who claim strict ownership over the secluded beach of his childhood.

Taylor Sheridan does not lack for chutzpah. The Academy Award-nominated screenwriter of "Hell or High Water" kicked his career into overdrive seven years ago when he launched the new-Western sensation "Yellowstone" on the Paramount Network. Since then, he's been a one-man television hit machine with "Yellowstone" spinoffs "1883" and "1923," as well as "Mayor of Kingstown," "Tulsa King," "Lioness" and "Landman." He is not a man to whom you say "no." I mean, you can say it, but you do so at your peril because the project you just shot down will likely wind up being a smash hit for a competitor.
Sheridan was just a year into building his "Yellowstone" empire when, being one of the busier bees in Hollywood, he hired himself out to rewrite the screenplay for an adaptation of Michael Koryta's thriller novel "Those Who Wish Me Dead." The tale of a reclusive smokejumper who finds herself...

With shows like Tulsa King and Yellowstone, Taylor Sheridan has become a household name. His writing skills and directorial prowess are worthy of appreciation as his work keeps the masses coming back week after week for another dose of that ranch lifestyle and mob boss feels.

Taylor Sheridan is a miniature industry unto himself. He wrote the Oscar hopefuls "Sicario," "Hell or High Water," and "Wind River," as well as the thrillers "Without Remorse" and "Those Who Wish Me Dead." On TV, Sheridan has been blasting barn doors off with "Yellowstone" and its multiple spinoffs, as well as shows like "Tulsa King," "Lioness," and "Landman." These are in addition to a modest acting career that put Sheridan on TV shows like "Walker, Texas Ranger," "Doctor Quinn, Medicine Woman," "Party of Five," "NYPD Blue," "Sons of Anarchy," and even "Star Trek: Enterprise." He also plays the supporting character of Travis Wheatley on "Yellowstone" and Charles on the prequel series "1883."
Sheridan has evolved into the modern torch-bearer for Western machismo, and he is often drawn into the dark hearts of manly men. He also seems to love crime stories, tales of criminals/lawmen, and conflicts that end with gunplay.

At this point, Paramount must be running out of space for any more titles from television show-making machine Taylor Sheridan. While "Yellowstone" might have drawn to a close, he still has the spin-offs lined up along with the likes of standalone titles, "Landman," "Lioness," "Tulsa King," and "Mayor of Kingstown" nicely ticking along as well. Of course, television isn't the only space Sheridan has occupied. Some of his best stories have been on the big screen instead of the small.
Before we even knew who John Dutton was and what it meant to be "taken to the train station," Taylor Sheridan was making a name for himself writing movies before really having a go at directing them. As with his television output, there have been some weak misses and some massive hits among the movies, and some you might be surprised he even played a part in helping create. Here's...

Season 2 of Paramount+'s Special Ops: Lioness concluded on December 8, 2024, reminding TV viewers how bonkers Taylor Sheridan's writing can become. The sprawling international spy thriller is loaded with one unpredictable twist and unforeseen turn after another, proving Sheridan to be the most skilled and in-demand TV scribe working today.
At last glance, CIA operative Joe McNamara (Zoe Saldaña) is forced to deal with Operation Sky Hawk, a spy mission finding Kaitlyn Meade (Nicole Kidman) and Byron Westfield (Michael Kelly) recruiting Pablo Carrillo (Demian Castro). The Season 2 finale sets up a clear-cut path to continue the espionage drama for Season 3, which would continue to make Sheridan the busiest TV scribe working in show business. For fans of Yellowstone, Landman, Mayor of Kingstown, Tulsa King, and more, here's why Lioness is Sheridan's most outlandish show yet.

Plot: Famed opera singer Maria Callas retreats to Paris in the 1970s after a glamorous yet tumultuous life in the public eye.
Review: Pablo Larrain‘s loose trilogy about famous twentieth-century women, beginning with 2016’s Jackie and 2021’s Spencer, comes to a close with Maria. Based on the life of revered opera singer Maria Callas, Larrain’s biopic focuses on the least recognizable of the three women. That Callas’ notoriously short life is not as easily remembered compared to Jackie Kennedy or Princess Diana affords Maria the ability to examine the singer’s life from a vantage point that is less sterile and distant than the previous two films. With a direct connection to Jackie, Maria retains some of the languid pacing and uneven creative choices that prevented Larrain’s prior biopics from being as strong as they could have been. However, after solid performances from Natalie Portman and Kristen Stewart,...

In the "Star Trek: Enterprise" episode "Chosen Realm", the Enterprise rescues a group of Triannons whose ship was damaged by a spatial anomaly. The captain of the Triannons, a man named Pri'Nam D'Jamat (Conor O'Farrell), explains that he leads a religious sect self-tasked with the exploration of multiple mysterious mechanical spheres that are scattered throughout this part of the galaxy. The spheres, he says, were created by the gods, and will guide his people toward the correct religious doctrine. He believes that the space around the spheres is holy land.
Rather suddenly, one of D'Jamat's retinue explodes in a suicide bombing. D'Jamat demands that Captain Archer (Scott Bakula) turn over control of the Enterprise to his sect, as he wants to use the ship's advanced weapons to aid a holy war raging back on his home planet. The bulk of the episode is a game of cat-and-mouse between D'Jamat and...

Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser will reprise their Yellowstone roles for a new, currently untitled spin-off series.
Taylor Sheridan is one of the busiest people in Hollywood. Not content with just acting in shows like Veronica Mars and writing the screenplays for terrific films like Sicario, Hell Or High Water, Wind River and Those Who Wish Me Dead, he turned to television in 2020 when he created Yellowstone. It’s an epic Western saga starring Kevin Costner as John Dutton, patriarch of the Dutton family, and follows the power struggle between the Duttons and their neighbours as they fight over the shared borders of the Yellowstone ranch.
Costner rather dramatically left the production in the middle of the fifth and final season.
The show also stars Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, and Gil Birmingham.
The first spin-off was a prequel called 1883. That was followed by another prequel,...

“Tell me how it felt to be onstage,” the journalist played by Kodi Smit-McPhee says to Maria Callas in the new trailer for Maria. “An exultation,” she responds. “An intoxication. I thought the stage itself would burn.” Starring Angelina Jolie, Pablo Larraín’s Maria is a swooning portrait of that cocktail of emotion.
Jolie has already earned a Golden Globe nomination for her stunning performance as Maria Callas. Previously, she won an Academy Award for her performance in Girl, Interrupted and has displayed her incredible range in films including Changeling, The Good Shepherd, Maleficent, and Those Who Wish Me Dead.
Renowned Chilean filmmaker Larraín is known for such films as Jackie, Spencer, No, Neruda, and 2023’s El Conde, which garnered a Best Cinematography Oscar nomination for Edward Lachman’s chiaroscuro work.

Landman is just the latest in Taylor Sheridan’s long and growing list of inimitable television hits after such shows as Yellowstone, Mayor of Kingstown, Special Ops: Lioness, and Tulsa King. While Paramount+ prospers under the umbrella of their partnership with the record-making creator, Sheridan finds a niche for himself to explore all the themes that were shunned by the remainder of the industry for being too dense and heavy.

In his latest endeavor, Taylor Sheridan repeated a trick that made him famous on television, especially on behalf of Kelly Reilly’s arc in Yellowstone. Through arcs like Beth Dutton and Kate Macer, the filmmaker has garnered an integral and profound understanding of the female psyche in all its strengths and foibles.
Now, he does the same again with Landman‘s Ali Larter and her layered character arc of Angela Norris.

Taylor Sheridan's Yellowstone has become a standout TV show. It has spawned a universe of its own, consisting of different stories set in the Dutton family's history. 1883 and 1923 both explored the origins of the family, while The Madison, 1944, and 6666 are all poised to explore other parts of the universe. The story of the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch is expansive, so it is no surprise that it has managed to see multiple spin-offs and prequels. $3.8 billion. That’s the amount of money Clint Eastwood’s films have grossed at the North American box office throughout his career. A superstar since the 1960s, Eastwood is rare in that almost all of his biggest blockbusters, including all the Dirty Harry movies, were all made for Warner Bros. It’s been his home studio since about the time he made The Outlaw Josey Wales. He’s made everything from Oscar-winners to action movies, to movies where he’s chilling with his pal Clyde the Orangutan for them, and they almost always ended up at least breaking even. Sure, he’s had a few flops, but even in his golden years, he still cranked out smash hits for them, with American Sniper making over half a billion dollars, while The Mule and Sully both made over $100 million domestically. Even when his movies didn’t do well, Eastwood keeps his...

Angelina Jolie remains one of the most recognizable actors in Hollywood, even though she doesn't work quite as regularly today as she did in the first decade of the 2000s. After starring in Girl, Interrupted (1999) Jolie went on to star in movies like Alexander (2004), Mr. and Mrs. Smith (2005), The Good Shepherd (2006), and Wanted (2008). Though she is widely known for films across a variety of genres, Jolie, especially at that time, had a reputation as something of an action star.
Jolie's role as video game adventurer Lara Croft in two Tomb Raider movies cemented her action hero persona, and subsequent roles in Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Wanted only further solidified this. More recently, the actor returned as an action star for movies like Those Who Wish Me Dead (2021) and Eternals (2021). Taylor Sheridan's and John Linson's "Yellowstone" premiered on Paramount+ in 2018 and has proven to be one of the network's biggest hits. To day, the show has run 47 episodes over five seasons and spawned the spinoffs "1883" and "1923." Starring Kevin Costner, "Yellowstone" takes place on the Dutton family ranch in modern-day Montana. The ranch borders Yellowstone National Park, hence the name, while the actual series follows the soap-opera-like drama of the Duttons as well as characters on the neighboring Broken Rock Indian Reservation. Such a reservation is fictional, but the series is accurate in depicting Crow people living there.
Sheridan, who grew up on ranches, pitched "Yellowstone" as a "Godfather"-like family epic, complete with crime and corruption. The characters all resort to increasingly dark actions to make the ranch successful. Because "Yellowstone" was such a hit, Sheridan was able to purchase 270,000 acres (!) of Texas land, and one would...

Ever imagined being told you can’t have your cake and eat it too, only to end up feasting like a king? This is precisely what happened to Taylor Sheridan during the production of Those Who Wish Me Dead, when he was flatly informed that Angelina Jolie—yes, the iconic ‘Angie’—would never take on the lead role.

Warner Bros. executives were adamant, quoting her then hiatus from live-action films and the tempestuous personal storms she was suffering, including a tough divorce. Oh, the irony! Sheridan’s wish to envision Jolie as the perfect Hannah, a smokejumper wrestling with her own demons. Despite the naysayers, Jolie found the script irresistibly cathartic, mirroring her own sense of brokenness and uncertainty.

Angelina Jolie's action movies have solidified her legacy as a true action movie star, despite her recent shift towards drama. Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Mr. and Mrs. Smith have left a lasting impact in the action movie genre, leading to reboots and adaptations. Although Jolie's upcoming projects seem focused on drama, the potential spy thriller Maude v Maude may offer a chance for her action side to shine once again.
Two years ago, I thought Angelina Jolie was making an action movie comeback, but now I fear that her movies will no longer be part of the genre. Jolie first established her career in the 1990s, picking up roles in movies like Hackers and Gia. However, her big break came in 1999 when she played Lisa Rowe in Girl, Interrupted. From there, Jolie catapulted to international fame, taking on iconic roles in varying genres, such as Lara Croft, Mrs.

The “elevated” psychological thriller The Surfer, starring Nicolas Cage (who can currently be seen on the big screen in Longlegs), received a six minute standing ovation when it screened at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, and now Deadline reports that a wider audience will have the chance to watch this ovation-inspiring film when Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions give it a theatrical release sometime in 2025.
Wounded, “The Surfer” decides to remain at the beach, declaring war against those in control of the bay. But as the conflict escalates,...

The untenable genius of Taylor Sheridan is such that when he picks up a project, the studio executives quietly slip out the back door, never to be seen again. In the recent past, the power and influence that the Yellowstone creator has amassed in Hollywood by reputation alone has allowed him to enjoy two things that other directors can only dream of – unlimited budget and unrestricted creative control.

The result of such heightened ambition paired with no censorship from the studio has conceived a fruitful relationship between Sheridan and Paramount, giving way to such masterpieces as 1883 and Mayor of Kingstown. However, even a genius such as Taylor Sheridan can falter at times, if not for the superhuman will that saved him from the clutches of Sons of Anarchy.

It’s now an established fact that the “Maleficent” actress Angelina Jolie is really not a sleeping beauty. In a May 26 interview published by “Vogue Japan” as part of her ongoing partnership with ”Guerlain’s Women for Bees” project, the actress shared some details about her personal life, her life in the spotlight, and her current struggles.
The “Those Who Wish Me Dead” actress shared what her strength and weaknesses are and that as an artist, she belittles herself way too and never gives herself enough credit that she deserves.
“It’s probably my weakness too, but my strength is that I’m emotional. I am deeply human, and flawed,” she says. “I feel that I want to connect to other people. And that can bring forward chaos, but it can also bring forward very authentic connections.”
She also revealed that due to her overflow of emotions, she is mostly restless and as a result,...

Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone success gave him a special position within the television industry. He is currently serving as the creator of at least six big television productions, including the final season of his breakthrough series. Sheridan doesn’t handle the load very well as he revealed to Joe Rogan about his hectic work schedule that gave him just 4 hours of sleep for months.

Taylor Sheridan is taking the world by storm thanks to his to his Yellowstone series and its prequels. The beloved Tom Hanks flick, Forrest Gump, which narrates the tale of a sweet but simple-minded common man who unintentionally finds himself at the center of significant moments in American history, is commemorating its 30th anniversary this summer.
Robert Zemeckis’ directorial was one of the biggest hits of the 1990s, no doubt. It took home six Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Director. It makes sense that audiences find comfort in the story of the slow-witted man who never loses sight of his true love, Jenny (Robin Wright). Truly, what a work!… Well, not really.

Hulu’s list of new releases for May 2024 is missing a certain amount of original series firepower. In the place of a blockbuster like The Handmaid’s Tale or Shōgun, however, is some content diversity.
The first of the month sees the premiere of four-episode British series Shardlake. This mystery drama takes place during the reign of Henry VIII and features none other than Thomas Cromwell (Sean Bean) investigating a murder. Other series of note this month include the Korean drama Uncle Samsik on May 15.
Movies are bit more interesting on Hulu in May. Teen comedy Prom Dates premieres on May 3. That will be followed by the 2023 Adam Drive film Ferrari on May 24. Before all that though is the real heavy hitter. You can watch Austin Butler’s acclaimed performance as The King in Elvis as early as May 1. The month is a prime time to have Disney+, what with the ongoing and buzzy success of “X-Men 97” and upcoming “Marvel Studios’ Assembled” going behind the scenes of the reboot series. May is of course the month of Star Wars, and the House of Mouse will celebrate with “Star Wars: Tales of the Empire” on May 4. Looks like 2024 is the year of the “Bullet Train” actor Brad Pitt. The odds have been in his favor as he kept gaining victory upon victory over his ex-wife Angelina Jolie.
After the former couple tied the knot in 2014 and split two years later, their divorce procedure was nothing to write home about as it was such a bitter experience for both of them.
When they finally finalized their divorce in 2019, the battle for who takes full custody of their children began.
In May 2021, The “World War Z” actor won 50-50 joint legal and physical custody of his children which he shares with the “Maleficent” actress. The children have been living with Jolie in her $25 million Los Angeles mansion.
Recently, a source told “InTouch Weekly” that Shiloh, who will soon turn 18 in May, wants to relocate to her dad’s $8 million mansion in Los Feliz, California.

Jolie's journey in Hollywood showcases her versatility, from action heroes to deeply emotional and flawed characters. In roles like Fox in Wanted, Jolie adds depth to her characters through motivations and emotions, not just badassery. Whether playing a spy like Evelyn Salt or a real-life figure like Gia Carangi, Jolie's performances are always powerful and authentic.
Angelina Jolie has been a star in Hollywood for the vast majority of her life, appearing in dozens of films with diverse and well-crafted roles that highlight her talents. Born into a superstar family with her Oscar-winning father, Jon Voight, and her model and actress mother, Marcheline Bertrand, Jolie was destined to make it big in Hollywood. At 7 years old, she had her first role in a movie, appearing along with her father in Lookin' To Get Out. She then stepped away from acting for several years, before returning to make a name for herself.

Netflix rang in 2024 with a huge opening week for its series Fool Me Once.
The thriller based on a novel by Harlan Coben scored better than 3 billion minutes of viewing in the week of Jan. 1-7, easily leading Nielsen’s streaming charts for the week (it premiered on New Year’s Day). The series had the biggest single week for any streaming show since August, when Suits (with a much higher episode count) brought in 3.24 billion minutes of viewing.

The movie adaptation of Those Who Wish Me Dead centers on Angelina Jolie's character, Hannah, while the novel focuses on teenager Jace Wilson. In the movie, Connor's father, Owen, uncovers incriminating information; in the novel, Jace is a witness in a murder case. Ethan and Allison are Connor's relatives in the movie, but, in the book, they run a wilderness survival program and are not related to Jace.

Here is a thorough explanation of everything that goes down in the ending of Angelina Jolie's Those Who Wish Me Dead.
The 2021 movie, which Yellowstone co-creator Taylor Sheridan directed, follows Jake Weber’s Owen as he realizes his life may be in danger following a gas explosion at his boss’ house.
Before being successfully assassinated, he tells his son, Connor, how he is a forensic accountant who finds things that do not add up. After he dies, Connor is left on the run with nowhere to go as two hitmen scour the area in hopes of finding him and his father’s secrets, which are scribbled down on scraps of paper.

Spoilers are ahead for the ending of Those Who Wish Me Dead.
Hannah and Connor survive the wildfire by hiding in a stream, which helps Hannah overcome her past guilt. Hannah strikes Patrick with an ax and lets the fire finish him off in an intense sequence that proves Angelina Jolie's action film prowess. Ethan dies, but smokejumpers rescue Hannah, Connor, and Allison, leaving audiences wondering about the dangerous secret Connor's dad was hiding.
For the most part, Those Who Wish Me Dead's ending is pretty straight-forward action-movie fare, except when it comes to learning about Owen's secret. Directed by Yellowstone co-creator Taylor Sheridan, Those Who Wish Me Dead is an action movie comeback for star Angelina Jolie, who plays Hannah — a guilt-ridden smokejumper who takes on a new post at a remote fire tower. Surprisingly, Those Who Wish Me Dead's depiction of smokejumpers is pretty spot-on.

Jolie has expressed her enjoyment of making action movies, considering them to be therapeutic, and her career has seen success with roles that add depth and dynamism to traditional action star tropes. "Those Who Wish Me Dead" is an edge-of-your-seat thriller that highlights Jolie's abilities as an action star, and she should continue to pursue more roles in this genre based on her strong performances.
One movie starring Angelina Jolie from 2021 showcases why she should continue to take on more action roles, and it is not Eternals. After starring in just three live-action movies from 2016 to 2020, Jolie jumped back into the limelight with two movies in 2021 and was able to revisit some of the strengths that made...

Those Who Wish Me Dead portrays the role of smokejumpers — firefighters who provide the initial response to wildfires. Smokejumpers enter fire sites by parachuting in and use various tactics to suppress the fire and construct fire lines. While the movie takes liberties for the sake of its action set-pieces, it maintains an impression of authenticity in its portrayal of smokejumpers.
Even viewers who've seen Those Who Wish Me Dead, Angelina Jolie's 2021 thriller centered on the real-life dangers of forest fires, might still be wondering what smokejumpers are — and if the movie depicts firefighters accurately. Directed by Yellowstone's Taylor Sheridan, Those Who Wish Me Dead uses Montana locations as its backdrop, and centers on Jolie's Hannah, a smokejumper with a traumatic past. Before the events of the film, hardened survivalist Hannah fails to save a fellow smokejumper and three campers from a raging forest fire. In the present, a...

Warner Bros. movies are currently dominating Netflix's Top 10, surpassing Netflix originals in popularity. The inclusion of Warner Bros. movies on Netflix is unexpected, considering Warner Bros. has its own streaming service called Max. The deal between Netflix and Warner Bros. benefits both companies and has brought more attention to the streaming platform.
Netflix has a problem right now, and that is because Warner Bros. is currently dominating Netflix on their own streaming service. Warner Bros. is a massive company that has been around for decades, but Netflix has always had a strong hold on their own streaming platform, with many of their biggest releases being Netflix originals. However, Warner Bros. is completely overshadowing Netflix right now, and that is a problem that Netflix needs to fix.

Netflix's own movies are noticeably absent from the current Top 10 trending movies, which is a big deal and may hurt the streaming service. All the movies in the current Netflix Top 10 are acquired programming, overshadowing Netflix's original movies. Despite investing in original content and having recent releases, Netflix's movies are being overshadowed by major franchises and popular films, showing the need for Netflix to step up their original game.
As of the writing of this article, Netflix doesn't have any of their own movies in the Top 10, and this is a bad way for the streaming service to start 2024. Netflix has invested a lot into their original programming, with all-new Netflix original movies getting released all the time. It would be expected that Netflix's own movies would be some of the most popular on the platform, but the current Netflix Top 10 suggests otherwise.

"Those Who Wish Me Dead" was filmed in New Mexico, not Montana, saving money while creating a believable setting. Multiple locations in New Mexico, including Rio Arriba County and Bernalillo, were chosen for filming the action-packed scenes. The Manzano Mountains State Park provided the perfect backdrop for the forest scenes in the film.
Those Who Wish Me Dead technically takes place in the Montana wilderness, but the entirety of production on the movie actually occurred in a different location many miles south of Montana in the United States. The 2021 action thriller film, directed by Taylor Sheridan (of Yellowstone fame) and written by Sheridan, Michael Koryta, and Charles Leavitt, is based on Koryta's 2014 book of the same name. The movie's premise revolves around the murder of a man and his son, who witnessed his father's death, going on the run while the two assassins who killed his dad hunt him down.

A nearly unrecognizable Sofia Vergara playing a cartel boss, a new retelling of the story of the Uruguayan rugby team that crash-landed in the Andes in 1972, Kevin Hart assembling a team for a daring heist and Dan Levy dealing with loss and grief are among the standout projects hitting Netflix this January.
Spanish director J.A. Bayona’s Society of the Snow lands on Netflix on Jan. 4. The film is the latest cinematic retelling of the miraculous story of the Uruguayan rugby team that crash-landed on a glacier in the heart of the Andes in 1972, with the survivors being forced to resort to extreme measures to stay alive. After debuting in Venice, Society of the Snow has picked up plenty of awards on the international film festival circuit, and it recently made the shortlists in four categories for the 2024 Academy Awards, including best international feature film.
