It should surprise no one that Bad Bunny decided to drop the long-anticipated music video for “LA MuDANZA” on his 31st birthday. The song is a riotous salsa track that — like one of DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS’ other mega hits, “Baile INoLVIDABLE” — borrows from the salsa gorda era of the genre. It’s deeply personal, too: It opens with a spoken word snippet of Benito retelling the story of how his parents came of age in the Nineties, crossed paths serendipitously, and eventually had the kid who is now an international superstar.

Pooja Bhatt’s Holiday, which was released on February 10, 2006, featured Dino Morea as a Salsa dancer. Dino Morea’s swan-like grace in the Salsa dancing, done with such precise and yet spontaneous élan, leaves us watching open-mouthed. Subhash K Jha revisits the film, and we hear from Dino Morea about a film he loved, Holiday.
Here’s an actor who has so far been wrongly, badly, or inadequately used. It’s a pleasure beyond measure to watch Dino do his ‘dirty’ dancing accompanied by some truly innovative music(Ranjit Barot) and choreography(Sandeep Soparkar).
For her second directorial venture, Pooja Bhatt has chosen a dream team. All her cast and crew conspire to create a Goan romance with a velvety Valentinian vibrancy. You can’t see Holiday qualifying for an Oscar nomination. But the gawky-chick-meets-graceful-dancer romance keeps a smile alive till the end. And that’s no small mercy!

After Oscars Night, Dancing With The Stars fans realized how strong the competitors in Season 33 truly are. Olympic Rugby player Ilona Maher and her dance partner Alan Bersten caught quite a lot of attention in the best way.
Fans Praise Ilona Maher’s Routine For Great Representation
Ilona and Alan may not be the highest-scoring couple, but DWTS viewers fell head over heels in love with their fun personalities and great dynamic.
On Oscars Night, they earned a 21/30 for their Salsa to “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” from Dirty Dancing. Of course, they wanted to pay homage to the film with the iconic lift. And since Ilona Maher is an incredibly muscular athlete, they wanted to incorporate some lifts for her as well.

Jennifer Lopez has cemented an indelible legacy in the acting and music industries. Just like her professional career, her personal life has also been in the headlines, but one thing remains a pertinent aspect of her life – her discipline, self-confidence, and work ethic. But, her extensive efforts were unable to make a project succeed which she worked on with Marc Anthony.

The duo starred in the 2006 musical biopic El Cantante which didn’t get the recognition it deserved. Despite how much they put effort into the project, she reflected that the film’s limited budget hindered promotions, attributed to its limited audience reach.

One of the highlights of “Oscars Night” on “Dancing with the Stars” came at the very end of the episode when Olympic rugby medalist Ilona Maher performed a salsa with her pro partner Alan Bersten. The duo danced to the award-winning song “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” from the classic film “Dirty Dancing,” giving Maher another opportunity to expand what it means to be feminine. Watch their routine above.
I was a little bit worried for Maher after the season 33 premiere episode. She performed a cha cha that was a little tight and reserved, and I wondered if her muscularity was limiting her range of motion. But when she received straight sixes from the judges she rejoiced; she seemed to think the judges were being too kind to her, and her modesty and enthusiasm were infectious. I was instantly rooting for her.

‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 33 Premiere: Chandler Kinney Tangoes to Chappell Roan’s ‘Hot to Go!’
This article contains spoilers for the Sept. 17 episode of “Dancing With the Stars.”
The Season 33 premiere of “Dancing With the Stars” kicked off Tuesday night with controversial con artist Anna Delvey, popularized in Netflix’s “Inventing Anna,” dancing in a bedazzled ankle monitor. No one was sent home in Week 1, but co-host Alfonso Ribeiro announced that there would be two eliminations next week.
Delvey ended up in the middle of the 13 couples score-wise, but at the top of the leaderboard was “Pretty Little Liars” star Chandler Kinney, who performed a sizzling tango to “Hot To Go!” by Chappell Roan with partner Brandon Armstrong.
Judge Bruno Tonioli told Kinney, “Oh my God, this was one of the best [first dances]” ever, while Carrie Ann Inaba told her it was “amazing” and that the actress had “set the bar” for Season 33. Derek Hough proclaimed her a “superstar.” She scored two “8” ratings and one “7,” for a total of 23 points,...

Michael Che said during a recent interview on the “Fly on the Wall” podcast (via The Daily Beast) that one “Weekend Update” joke involving salsa nearly led him to quit the show. Asked by podcast hosts and “SNL” alums Dana Carvey and David Spade if any punchline continues not to sit well with him, Che answered: “I think jalapeño business… I was pretty furious about that one.”

Ask anybody from New York, and they'll tell you that summers in the city are special. They are so special that they've been immortalized in great works of literature, cinema, and songs for decades now. Perhaps most famously on the Latine side of things, El Gran Combo's "Un Verano En Nueva York" stands as an ode to New York City summer and everything it brings with it: street festivals, block parties, boat tours, beach days. And for many Latines in the city, summertime marks the return of a time-honored tradition: Latin dance nights.
As a kid, my father had my sister and me on the weekends, and he would take us down to South Street Seaport for salsa night. This was before the recent renovation, back when the Fulton Fish Market still operated out of downtown and would fill the air with the strong scent of tilapia, salmon, and sea bass.
