As the tenth anniversary of Glen Campbell’s Ghost on the Canvas was approaching, Dave Kaplan —whose Surfdog Records released the haunting album in 2011 — was pondering ways to honor it. A late-period landmark for Campbell, who died in 2017 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease, Ghost on the Canvas found the venerable pop-country singer and guitarist covering songs by a new generation of writers — alt-rock types like Paul Westerberg, Guided By Voices’ Robert Pollard, Jakob Dylan, and Teddy Thompson. The album ranked Number 88 on Rolling Stone‘s list of...

The following contains major spoilers for Chicago P.D. Season 10, Episode 22, "A Better Place."
Chicago P.D. has had its share of explosive season finales, and the Season 10 finale was no exception. Sergeant Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) and his team raced from blowup to blowup, dealing with both emotional bombs and actual C-4, in an attempt to keep Richard Beck (Lee Tergesen) from executing his deadly attack -- and left the audience with a potentially devastating cliffhanger.
Season 10 brought significant change for Intelligence, beginning with the departure of Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer). Intelligence also added Dante Torres (Benjamin Levy Aguilar) to the team and saw the arrival of Kevin Atwater's (Laroyce Hawkins) father, Lew. More than anything, Season 10 put several of Intelligence's members in danger, and no one more than Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger).

Digital Jungle Pictures has completed post-production on its first feature marking the directorial debut of Dennis Ho.
A Better Place follows a closeted young introvert with a supernatural ability who is forced to confront the outside world after his mother dies.
“I had a novel concept come into my mind,” said Digital Jungle Pictures and Digital Jungle Post Production owner and president Ho. “A boy with the power to reflect and redirect violence in a way that forces people to rethink their actions.

Francois Girard's Boychoir has several new voices this morning. The indie drama signed Dustin Hoffman to star as its inspiational choir master back in the autumn, along with Alfred Molina and Kathy Bates. They'll now be joined by Eddie Izzard, Debra Winger, Josh Lucas and Kevin McHale.Boychoir is the story of a troubled 11 year-old given the opportunity to turn his life around through music. He has a fractious relationship with Hoffman's character at their New York school, but Hoffman refuses to let him squander his talent.Bates plays the headmistress, with Molina as another teacher. Today's new names don't come with characters, apart from Winger, who'll be a department head. We'd assume that Izzard, Lucas and McHale might make up further staff. After a worldwide search, the production has also found largely new faces for its juvenile leads. Garrett Wareing (who's been in some commercials and the indie drama...
