In a conversation with uInterview, director Dean Alioto shared the inspiration for his new documentary, The Alien Perspective. The film explores a series of different theories regarding the experience of extraterrestrial visitors, examined by various academics. Alioto first explained why he wanted to approach this documentary from a different perspective than he has in the past. “Even as a filmmaking excercise, I was like, ‘Oh, what would it be like if we were to look at it from their alien perspective, even as a hypothetical’…I want to pull in people that are amazing, world-renown scientists from Oxford, NASA, Harvard, etc., and get their take on what that would be,” he told uInterview founder Erik Meers.
