Welcome to Pakistan, my friend !!

"We live like this, this is how men live !!" It was class, the flow was awesome, i mean i was amazed the story was so different !! BRAVO !! Actually it was about LITHIUM reserves in Afghanistan and how Americans are trying to steal it because it will be the next Big Thing in the history of mankind after oil and how CIA and other agencies want their Company to get mining contracts and playing Afghans and Pakistanis, also how and why Pakistan is part of this plan of Americans. AND to be honest this movie was for intellectuals not for them who watch and clap in Utho Jago Pakistan or at Bollywood dances !! Level: yea close to Hollywood, no doubt it had lags but it was a great effort !!

Visually Stunning & an Intelligent Cinematic Masterpiece

Operation 021 comes as a pleasant audio-visual treat.

#O21 is intriguing and enthralls you. It keeps you on the edge of your seat for the entire length of the movie.

#O21 is not for those who keep their brains at home when they come to a movie theater.

Half of the people will not like it, whereas the other half will simply love it. Luckily I am from the second half.

      Story & Direction:

It is not the usual "find the chip flick" but instead it intelligently highlights the intricacies of geo-political scene of the region.

Jami does a great job in handling the script crisply & keeps you guessing at all times. The movie is visually stunning, just a shade darker for my liking.

      Music Score:

No songs, yes NO songs. Yet the movie has background music for at least 90% of the time. The music score gels in superbly and builds to the feel of the movie.

Acting: The star studded cast does justice to their roles. Each individual simply outperforms each other. Ayub Khoso, Hameed Sheikh, Aamina Sheikh, Gora (Western) Actors, Shamoon in a Cameo and our very own Shaan. Even the new comers were exceptional.

      Verdict:

I will simply give it a 9/10 for production value, crisp direction, superb acting, brilliant acting skills, engaging music score and most importantly keeping the audience involved right through those two hours.

#O21 is not a spoon feeder and requires your complete attention throughout.

The Pakistani Cinema is evolving and this educating masterpiece by Jami is even better than many much-hyped Hollywood flicks.

A MUST watch for the learned !

      Awaiting its International release.

      Excellent Movie !!

After Watching Operation 021 i am thrilled. Brilliantly crafted movie i have ever watched in Pakistan history. The screenplay was awesome, background music was great. Shan performance was awesome, his dialogue delivery style was great.Amina sheikh and Shamoon Abbasi and also the rest of the cast performed well in this film. The only reason a small fraction of people are not liking it is because its bitter truth or some are morons who didn't understand the concept of the movie.Or who like to watch 'Rohit Shetty' Movies. Not the regular social drama, masala and item song drama that is in demand.

In the end this is the best script and quality pakistani movie so far.A must watch movie.

      Enthrilling and Bold!

Operation 021 is a pleasant surprise for the cinema audience. The film makers have simply blown my expectations. What a production! With this feature Jami has outdone himself. This is a true cinematic experience, to behold. The movie exceeded my expectations in terms of action, and entertainment. The editing, sound, score, visuals, direction and action are all top notch.

The film contains a fine cast of talented actors. What sets this film apart is that it had a genuine emotional heartbeat. The cast is completely engrossing, as they have given such a powerful performance. The dynamic scenes between the actors are so well done, incredibly well written, and impeccably directed by Jami. Operation O21 is emotionally riveting and amazing to watch. During the whole film there is 'never' a dull moment, which is pretty impressive. The entire time I was on the edge of my seat. The movie's action sequences are spectacularly well created and very intense. The dialogue between the character's are intelligent and highly believable. The movie's soundtrack is terrific and really exemplifies many of the movie's scenes which are extremely well tailored and really helped develop many of the movie's action sequences.

In conclusion, this film is a gorgeous reminder that great writing and direction can enhance a movie experience, even Pakistani movies, which are usually thought of as mindless entertainment. I am wholly satisfied with the O21 team's vision, Azaan's writing and Jami's flawless direction and I thank everyone who worked on this film, for bringing such an intricate interpretation of its entertaining and thrilling literary source. This movie certainly raises the bar from a Pakistani stand point. This is the kind of work and dedication that needs to proceed forward, if we are to revive the Pakistani Film Industry. 10/10

      Bollywood RIP!!!!!!!!

Operation 021 , After watching WAAR , this time Pakistan Cinema gets a BRAIN with Beauty of extra ordinary direction. Operation 021 simply stands out way above than any movie ever made in history of Bollywood Cinema. Beware this movie will be hated by gallery viewers who loves movies like DABANG, or a typical pathetic MASALA movie. So if you are going to cinema with a mediocre state of mind like DABANG walla Damagh, than you will be losing and wasting your time and money. The movie is a class and only for those who like serious drama with a brilliant story and screen play. OPEARTION 021 is a story about how secret agencies really work. What USA is doing in AFGHANISTAN, how Pakistan comes into play? How ISI works ? The first half of movie is slow and may be feeling boring, but in second half it blows and especially the ending will be a shocker for you. The direction is top notch, specially the action sequence in the second half is simply awesome. Acting wise everyone delivers a perfect act. SHAAN in comparison of any top actor, again proves that he is a class ACT. Ayub khoso is Brilliant. Shamoon Abbasi after WAAR again delivers a brilliant performance. JAMI must be praised, after showing his class in music video Pal do Pal , sung by Najam Sheraz, Video was first ever made in 32mm format in 1999, proves that he is a great director. His upcoming movie MAA will be another class act. Editing was brilliant the movie length was perfect and edited with lot of excellence. One the best dialogue was ' Welcome to Pakistan , my friend'. So no masala pure drama, no THUMKAS pure performances, go for it and yes BOLLYWOOD RIP!!!!!!!!!!
