Characters come and go on The Walking Dead, meaning a lot of guest stars have paid their due time in the zombie apocalypse. The Walking Dead was like the Grey's Anatomy of apocalyptic shows, where actors would star for one or two episodes until they met their fictional death. A lot of these actors were already pretty big in the industry before signing on, and for some, The Walking Dead was their big break.
The Walking Dead didn't start attracting notable guest stars until around Season 6, likely because of the critically acclaimed fifth season. Once the main cast started getting into the double digits, often making it too hard to count, the deaths started racking up. But to be on The Walking Dead for a short time was a rite of passage for a lot of actors, and a fun time to experiment with gory death scenes.

Carol's Walking Dead journey has seen her transition from a timid mother to one of the franchise's most competent survivors, and a subtle scene from season 1 shows exactly when she became a badass. Although she wasn't always presented as the toughest or craftiest member of the group, Carol's transition has been nothing short of amazing. Despite suffering plenty of loss and even being exiled from the main group at one stage, she grew into one of The Walking Dead's most dangerous characters and is an invaluable survivor who has become a pivotal part of the iconic zombie franchise.
Having started as more of a supporting character, she slowly got more involved in the story and was part of some of the show's best episodes. While she remains kind-hearted and a good person overall, some of Carol's darkest Walking Dead moments prove she will do whatever it takes to survive,...

The two launch maps for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies, Liberty Falls and Terminus, have been received very well by veterans and newcomers to the game mode alike. As Black Ops 6 was launched day-one on Xbox Game Pass, many players will have had their first experience of the round-based undead wave shooter, and both maps have been acclaimed as a return-to-form for fans. One way in which Liberty Falls demonstrates its success is through its many Easter Eggs and hidden secrets.
The Zombies game mode is historically known for its elaborate Easter Eggs, including entire questlines, hidden weapons, power-ups, songs, and other smaller secrets. The launch maps take heavy inspiration from many of the series greats, like Der Eisendrache, Origins, and Mob of the Dead, by featuring all of these hidden extras, with at least 25 known secrets in Liberty Falls. From the currently known information, 10 of the best Easter...

Players returning to the iconic Nuketown map in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 discovered a new Easter egg that changes the entire game. The Black Ops subseries is famous for including Easter eggs that occur if players shoot off the heads of all the mannequins in Nuketown, but Black Ops 6 launched without any such secret. Luckily, Season 1 has added in what was previously missing, and it makes for a memorable experience.
Spotted by IGN, Call of Duty content creator Inkslasher posted a clip on Twitter that shows the dramatic change in the game after shooting the heads off of every mannequin while playing Season 1 of Black Ops 6. The screen suddenly shifted to a "signal lost, standby" message and cycled through a few grainy images of the Nuketown map. Then, Inkslasher and his fellow players were returned to the map, where the welcome to Nuketown sign had an additional "filming in...

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's Zombies game mode has been well received by new and longtime players alike, leading to comparisons with the very best that the undead shooter has offered over the last 16 years. Due to the well-crafted and intricate designs of the launch maps, Terminus and Liberty Falls, fans eagerly awaited any news on what could be next. After the teaser of the massive Season 1 update coming November 14, fans got an idea of the newly revealed map, Citadelle des Morts.
Much of the information concerning this new map is unavailable, but Treyarch has revealed that it's a continuation of the main Easter Egg questline in Terminus as the crew heads to Europe. The current information reveals that it will feature an abandoned castle, a medieval village, and more undead horror. This setting drew some excitable suggestions that it may be a remake of Black Ops 3's Der...

Zombies has made a well-received return in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The two launch maps, Terminus and Liberty Falls, have been favorably reviewed by fans and critics alike. Comparisons have been made to the subseries' greatest hits, like Black Ops 2's Zombies, resulting in a return-to-form for the game mode after a few underwhelming years. Both of the launch maps benefit from some updates to the core mechanics of Black Ops 6, such as the fluid omni-movement system and the Arsenal weapon upgrade machine, making the game feel vastly different to older iterations.
Due to Black Ops 6's positive reception, thoughts have turned to potential remasters and remakes of older Zombies maps. This has happened often in the subseries, especially in 2015's Black Ops 3, which featured eight classic maps from previous games. Updating maps and experiences from almost 15 years ago in a modern engine, with contemporary graphics, would theoretically make...

The latest edition of the popular Zombies game mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has brought players back to the glory days of the subseries. After a few years of bizarre experiments, like open-world Warzone-style gameplay, Treyarch has reverted to the original formula round-based Zombies. The two launch maps, Liberty Falls and Terminus, exhibited the best parts of modern Zombies with a relentless and entertaining experience, and the increasing intensity is demonstrated in the variety of enemies to face in Black Ops 6.
Similarly to many other Zombies maps in the past, Black Ops 6's take on Zombies features enemies that are consistent across both maps, but it also includes unique enemies specific to individual maps. Examples of these individual enemy types include the Astronaut Zombie from Moon, or the Space Monkeys from Ascension. Zombies mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is very much about surviving as long as possible while facing endless waves of zombies. It’s the perfect setup for players who want a serious challenge, whether they’re teaming up with friends or tackling the hordes on their own in solo play.
For those who prefer playing solo and offline, saving progress mid-game is now an option, which is a pretty big deal. In previous Call of Duty games, once you started a round of Zombies, you had to keep going until it was game over or you decided to quit, losing all progress if you had to leave early. With this new save feature, Black Ops 6 has finally, and thankfully, given players a better option.

In the pre-season promotion for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon — The Book of Carol, Norman Reedus repeatedly said he believed the finale was the best hour of The Walking Dead that had ever been made. Inevitably, it isn’t, but it’s a shame because while it cannot compete with the likes of "The Grove "or "Terminus," it’s not a bad episode. “Au Revoir Les Enfant” (Goodbye Children) gives us some vastly needed closure and the promise of a better future.
Much of the first half of the episode takes place at the racetrack where Daryl and Carol (Melissa McBride) are deciding who will go on Ash’s (Manish Dayal) plane back to the US with Laurent (Louis Puech Scigliuzzi). As with so much of this season, Daryl’s motivations for offering to stay behind remain muddy. Is he offering to stay behind out of nobility, or does...

Captain America has gone up against some truly terrifying villains in the MCU, but shockingly, Marvel has neglected to use six of the officially most powerful villains that Captain America has ever faced. While everyone's seen Steve Rogers clash with Thanos on the big screen, there are a few others with just as much potential for major movie villain status.
1996's Captain America: The Legend written by Mark Gruenwald, with art by Jason Franzone included a list of "off-the-charts" powerful villains, those Steve Rogers considers to be the most dangerous in the Marvel Universe.
While Thanos, of course, was the McU's greatest villain, the only other antagonist from this list to appear on screen so far has been M.O.D.O.K. leaving related character M.O.D.A.M., as well as Dragon Man, Jakar, Terminus, the Captain America-duplicate Ameridroid, and the particularly dangerous Super-Adaptoid waiting in the...

This is a quick guide on how to beat Parasites in the Black Ops 6 Zombies. These enemies are based on insects that can fly around the map and annoy players while dealing with other undead variants. The Parasites are not the hardest enemies to handle in Zombies; however, they can be a pain to kill.
A parasite is relatively easy to kill by itself with a few shots; however, these things can attack together as a swarm. Players would likely start blasting wherever they see one and hope for the best to wipe out the rest of the swarm.
How to Beat Parasites? Parasites can easily overwhelm a squad in a matter of seconds.
The Parasites are much easier to kill than Armored zombie variants. Players can kill Armored zombies by hitting them in exposed areas or riddling them with bullets to the head. Meanwhile, Parasites can be taken down...

The Zombies game mode is infested with countless variants and many players wonder how to beat Abominations efficiently and quickly in Black Ops 6. The Abomination is a three-headed creature seemingly inspired by the hound of hell, Cerberus, and it can be quite a pain to kill around the small town of Liberty Falls.
The Abomination is aggressive and cunning with a handful of ranged and melee attacks that must be avoided at all costs. Like the Amalgam of the Terminus map, the Abomination has weak spots players can exploit and work as a team to make short work of this monstrosity.
How to Beat Abominations? The Abomination is fast and brutal but a few good shots can take it down.

The updated Zombies game mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been received well by veterans and newcomers alike. Zombies is historically known for its convoluted Easter Eggs and secrets. Going from small secrets in World at War's Der Riese to elaborate series-spanning celebratory questlines like Black Ops 3's Revelations, the Easter Eggs are a big part of the mode's identity, and Zombies fans expected no less in the newest maps in Black Ops 6: Liberty Falls and Terminus.
After the game's worldwide launch on 25 October, the community spent plenty of time combing over every inch of these two maps to find out what they hide. Along with the standard Easter Egg questline, players can find bonus points, Perk-a-Cola power-ups, and more useful discoveries, but the maps also don't shy away from absurd offerings. Liberty Falls offers a bowling mini-game with zombie pins, and Terminus provides a game of Whack-a-mole with some crabs.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will see the return of the popular Zombies game mode. The return to the round-based format looks to improve upon the poorly received change to the open-world Outbreak game mode in the latest iterations of the series. Other changes in Black Ops 6 include a Guided Mode for the intricate Easter egg questlines, new Zombies characters, brand-new Wonder Weapons, and a return to the GobbleGum upgrade system. A much anticipated new feature is the brand-new Perk-a-Cola called Melee Macchiato.
Perk-a-Cola is an upgrade system which sees stylized vending machines producing beverages to assist the player in their survival. Seven other Perk-a-Colas will be present at launch, but Melee Macchiato is the first perk to be exclusive to Black Ops 6. It looks to add to the fast-paced Zombies experience by gearing the player for a dynamic, challenging, and rewarding playstyle, which has the potential to become a fan favorite.

The fourth episode of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol features the long-awaited reunion between the two title characters, in the thick of the season’s biggest action scene yet. The safe haven known as the Nest is under attack, with France’s dictatorial leader Genet (Anne Charrier) leading the charge. The chaos allows Carol to slip in (albeit, not unnoticed), and fight her way through mobs of walkers to find the person she’s been looking for all season long.
The reunion itself plays out in the midst of a hallway fight, with Daryl finally joining the battle,...

The following contains spoilers for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 2, Episode 2, "Moulin Rouge," which premiered Sunday, Oct. 6 on AMC.
Now that Carol is heading to France with her new friend Ash, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is strongly promising a Daryl and Carol reunion in the near future. For other characters, however, not every promise gets answered. Laurent is growing increasingly doubtful about his role as the next potential leader of the Union of Hope. As he prays for an adjustment to life at the Nest, he acknowledges that the strangers there claim to love him, but he's aware that they don't love him -- they love the idea that the strange circumstances surrounding his birth provide a destiny to fix the world. Although he wishes to be an ordinary child, he hopes to simultaneously be the person the Union of Hope needs him to be and who he wants to be.

The following contains spoilers for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 2, Episode 1, "La gentillesse des trangers," which premiered Sunday, Sept. 29 on AMC. The following also mentions domestic abuse and violence.
Carol Peletier had one of the best character arcs on The Walking Dead, even surpassing Rick Grimes' own fascinating evolution from Sheriff's Deputy to a morally conflicted leader of communities. Carol's storyline was relatable for those who felt trapped in the circumstances of their lives, and proved that people in abusive situations can escape to become the best version of themselves. Every step in Carol's journey was natural progression in her evolution that made her the fierce woman she is today.
When The Walking Dead ended in its 11th season, Carol's arc was at a good stopping point. She made amends with Ezekiel, regained her love of being a mother by looking after Judith and Rj Grimes and...

Rick Grimes had a ton of iconic moments during his tenure on The Walking Dead, from his badass one-liner at Terminus to his unhinged meltdown at Alexandria. There were plenty of lovable characters in The Walking Dead that audiences loved watching Daryl, Carol, Glenn, Maggie, Hershel, Morgan but every fan has a special place in their heart for Rick. The series was an ensemble piece with a sprawling cast of main characters, but Rick was the undeniable lead of the show.
Although he never got the accolades he deserved, Andrew Lincoln gave a truly captivating performance as Rick. He was introduced as a benevolent deputy sheriff, but he gradually devolved into a grizzled post-apocalyptic warrior who would rip out a marauders jugular with his teeth to protect his son. If Walter White transformed from Mr. Chips into Scarface, then Rick transformed from Gary Cooper in High Noon into John Wick.

After a poor performance by Modern Warfare 3, the Call of Duty saga is finally aiming for a strong comeback with the release of Black Ops 6. One of the major features that will be reworked is the zombies mode.
New leaks suggest that the zombies mode will revert to its original concept of rounds, a feature that previous installments removed. It seems there will be a small unexpected twist that will mark a before and after in the mode, as Treyarch will try adding a kind of guide to help players complete each map.

Embrace your sinister side in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and become a supervillain as suggested by the leaked achievement "World Domination." Look out for new elements in Zombies mode, such as consuming special fish, unlocking Augments, and tapping into your Supervillain side. With the upcoming release on Xbox Game Pass, Black Ops 6 is set to bring fresh challenges and a potential return of iconic villains.
If a recent leak is to be believed, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will encourage players to embrace their sinister sides and become supervillains. As the launch of the next installment in the annual franchise inches closer, the game has been the victim of several substantial leaks showing off everything from a new map to perk specialties, but this latest report may have the most insight yet. When it comes to achievements, games often disclose several plot points and features within the descriptions, making it easier to glean information.

The Walking Dead's season 4 finale changed Rick's iconic line from the comics by censoring the explosive F-bomb, which was hugely underwhelming. The watered-down version of Rick's line lacked the original's impact, deflating the tension of the scene and missing the badassness of the moment. Subsequent seasons of The Walking Dead featured uncensored F-bombs, making the censorship of Rick's line in season 4 even more disappointing.
10 years ago, The Walking Deads season 4 finale weakened the impact of Rick Grimes most badass line from the comics by censoring his perfectly placed F-bomb and Im still not over it. The Walking Dead season 4, episode 16, A, sees Rick and his group finally arriving at Terminus. Theyd been on the road to Terminus ever since their cushy prison hideout was destroyed by the Governor. The new trailer for The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live suggests that Rick may lose his hand in the show's story. This loss of hand would be a recent event, as Rick had both hands in his cameo in the series finale. The show's decision to have Rick keep his hand, unlike in the comics, was due to the challenges it would present in terms of action and storytelling.

Warning: Spoilers ahead for Daryl Dixon: Episode 2.
Daryl Dixon's character in The Walking Dead has a pattern of constantly getting captured, a repetitive trend that continues in episode 2 of his spinoff. Daryl has been captured multiple times throughout the series, including by the Saviors, the Reapers, and The Governor, adding to the scars he carries from his time in the apocalypse. Daryl's cycle of being captured is a The Walking Dead trope that should not have returned.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon has been met with mostly positive reviews so far, but it does continue the same tiresome theme for Daryl (Norman Reedus) seen throughout The Walking Dead. With Daryl being such an iconic character in the franchise, it is no surprise he has faced plenty of problems throughout the series. Daryl has featured in more episodes than any other character in the show, making him the most likely to be exposed to danger.

Clearly, we can't get enough of The Walking Dead, as it feels like every week we are blessed with the announcement of another spinoff or franchise update. Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) ventured to Manhattan in their spinoff The Walking Dead: Dead City and Norman Reedus' Daryl Dixon heads to France in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. Plus, our fearless leader Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) is getting a spinoff of his own with Danai Gurira's Michonne in The Ones Who Live. There have been plenty of The Walking Dead moments that left us watching through our fingers and occasionally gagging into our popcorn, but one moment stands out as perhaps the show’s gnarliest. No, it isn't when Negan killed Glenn (Steve Yeun) by bashing his skull in with a bat, the neck-slicing trough at Terminus, or the moment we realized The Governor (David Morrissey...

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon has introduced a villain with the desire for revenge, but his storyline is similar to a character in another Walking Dead spinoff. The premiere of Daryl Dixon's spinoff revealed new characters who will play a crucial role in upcoming episodes, including Codron, a hardened soldier determined to hunt Daryl down for the murder of his brother. Audiences witnessed Codron's rage as he stormed The Abbey full of innocent nuns, killed an old man without hesitation, and ordered another soldier to kill Father Jean, someone his group used to worship under.
Revenge has always been a prominent theme throughout The Walking Dead, with villains like Negan killing beloved characters in Rick's group for the loss of his men, and Rick murdering the cannibal, Gareth, for tricking them and holding them hostage in Terminus. From unique bio-organisms, hybrid monstrosities, and sentient androids, Isaac Asimov’s cosmic universe is filled with archetypal creations that have influenced the lore of a number of other franchises. Mentalics are psychically enhanced beings who can communicate, project, and interact through telepathy. Through Gaal Dornick’s central role in the narrative of the interplanetary saga, the Mentalics are explored further, and their role will be integral in the upcoming world-building of Foundation, including the arrival of the series’ most important figure, the Mule. Let’s take a look at the connection established with the unique community and what role mental health professionals might play in the future.

There is a certain saying in theological studies that talks about accepting the situations one cannot change, having the courage to change what can be changed, and having the wisdom to know the difference between both situations. The precepts of Foundation are by no means grounded in theology, yet Isaac Asimov’s masterwork heavily hinges on these principles, as shown throughout the first season of Apple TV+’s adaptation of the novel series and also in the recently concluded second season as well.
The first season of Foundation primarily dealt with the conflict between brilliant mathematician Hari Seldon and the genetic Cleon dynasty, the rulers of the Galactic Empire, stemming from the fact that Hari’s calculations based on psychohistory predicted the downfall of the Empire. As a deterrent, after being banished to planet Terminus, Hari created the Foundation, which is an institute to preserve the essentials of human civilization...

The second season of Apple TV+’s cosmic epic, Foundation, introduced new characters, new stakes, and new revelations, and as it concluded with quite an eventful finale, Hari Seldon’s masterplan was unfurled in a cataclysmic reckoning. Given the basis of psychohistory and Hari’s initial perception of human existence, which dictates that the impact of individuals doesn’t matter much in the grand scheme of things, it is little wonder that not all the characters viewers grew fond of will make it to the next season. In fact, these last couple of episodes of the second season take out more characters from the planetary saga than the first season managed to do. We would like to take a look back at the ending of the second season to assess the tally of the characters who might return for a third season and those who won’t.

The following contains spoilers for Foundation Season 2, Episodes 2 & 4, which is now streaming on Apple TV+.
The second season of Apple TV+'s hit sci-fi series Foundation, based on the novels by Isaac Asimov, has continued to tackle many complex themes through the sci-fi genre. One prevailing theme this season is the fusion of science and religion, which centers around one key character: Poly Verisof. This character forms the nexus between these two seemingly opposing forces, enabling the series to offer insights into the intricate relationship between scientific advancement and spiritual belief.
One aspect of Hari Seldon's plan that has come to fruition this season is the Foundation's entry into its religious phase. While the Foundation worked to expand its influence, other civilizations with limited scientific progress began to perceive the Foundation's technology as something mystical, resulting in the emergence of a new religion called, The Church of the Galactic Spirit.
