David Wenham was to attend the preview screening and chat about the movie at the Luna Leederville in Western Australia on March 5th, 2025. However, as Cyclone Alfred was bearing down upon his family in Queensland he made the decision to return there to help prepare for the storm. But he did Zoom into the theatre full of 500 people and although he could not see or or hear the audience very well, was very gracious, and when the ABC radio host told him about all the cheering he looked very happy. He described spending some time in character as Johnny Spit in London getting into some escapades, being discreetly filmed by Jonathan Teplitzky. This culminated in them being thrown out of the National Portrait Gallery, and nobody realizing who they were, as it was just the two of them.
