    Max your life...

Greetings for the episode 5, I've keep enjoying a lot for the undercover from Reacher, once again Reacher proof his plenty manpower force construction every scene. Very good mind flexible reactions from Reacher training day he has. Admirations for the screeplay artwork , tactical military scene from Reacher, bang bang, he hits you now what the strategy you have..!? Plotted by a Reacher "Reacher" is high-class entertaining maybe the episode advances that old Hollywood look it is magnificent, his coffe time comes with smashing some heads nice. Some says he is better then from 'Bourne'. This seasons just keeps getting better and bettter. The amount of unbelievable stuff just makes me feel inspired to keep watching..!?

Season 3 is so far the worst

No issue with Reacher's morality or 'super powers'. In a few of.the books he has little regard for the value of human life.

Acting though really is not great. Boston accents are notoriously tough. Sonya Cassidy overacts both Boston (or whatever New England) by some margin.

Maybe it is direction. I think maybe there was time.pressure because the production does feel rushed.

Anthony Michael Hall is good in this role.

The story is quite close to the book but some omussions dilute the true evil of Paulie.

The other series were more polished.

Real pity. I hope Amazon keeps it real for the next series.

    An OK bridge episode

Not much happens this episode, except for the predictable fate of the guy working with Duffy. I can't remember his name, but they were basically baiting for FAR too long that the creep he was watching would eventually get away and he'd be left, well, let me just mark that one off of my prediction checklist. Only real surprise of the episode was seeing Reacher try, and fail, to bring down the big WWE-looking guy with a punch to the gut. That scene actually did surprise me, but now we know they're just building up to a big rematch, obviously. I think what bugs me about this series is how much dramatic padding seems to fill in the gaps of the show. Can't we just get a primarily Reacher-based show without all of the sub-plots? And what's with the recurring theme of urination that seems to plague this season? You could almost make a drinking game out of it: take a shot whenever someone makes mention of peeing.

    Too much bull

This show just keeps getting worse and worse. The amount of unbelievable stuff just makes me feel stupid for watching this. First, he pulls a warehouse locked metal door open. Then he overturns a car by himself. Why do they have to ruin a good show. The female FBI agent keeps losing and then gaining her terrible New York accent. Its no longer believable, too much bull. This is a crime drama that feels like a fast and furious bull**** ride. It makes me furious because now the show caters to simple minded people, who do not care whether a show depicts real reality. I hope the next season producers learn to do better.

    Where is Everybody?

I've been enjoying the season for the most part so far; feels closer to a classic Reacher story than season two but maybe that's just me. Having said that however I'm thinking I might have to rewatch the first episode because I don't recall why Duffy et al can't use more DEA resources other than the standard 'saving face' or 'using trustworthy people.' If those are the only reasons then this whole operation is a little suspicious.

The DEA has plenty of manpower and funding to at least hold that driver somewhere other than handcuffed to a chair in a cabin with only a kid, who I don't believe for a moment would pass the six-month agent training academy, to babysit him. All this did was contrive the inevitable situation that occurred in this episode, which I'm sure everyone watching saw coming a mile away.

Another thing about Duffy, besides her terribly fake Boston accent; why does she wear her badge and gun in full view all the time, especially when illegally entering/searching buildings and drinking a beer in public then driving? Federal agents and plainclothes detectives don't advertise that they're hiding a gun and badge somewhere on their person for several good reasons. But then again she wouldn't be able to lose her badge and create some tension for a few minutes if the agents were acting sensibly, and we just couldn't have that could we. Hopefully there's a logical explanation for Reacher not throwing her badge into the water with the dead bodies...

With all the guns in the guy's house, and his favorite toy as a child being a gun, did anyone really think the rug company was smuggling drugs? Even though he's not the one in charge there was never a single hint that drugs were involved. That wasn't much of a reveal.

    • Trivia
The "cat's a**hole" coffee Reacher is served is a real gourmet coffee. Kopi luwak--also known as civet coffee--is made from coffee beans that have been eaten and defecated by the Asian palm civet. It's very expensive.
    • Goofs
A well-organized clandestine operation in this huge mansion with seemingly unlimited resources and will stop at nothing to ensure success should be equipped with emergency generators when the power goes out.
    • Quotes

Howatt: [Reacher enters] Heard things been tough lately. Don't worry, princess. Cavalry's here.

Agnes: [sets the coffee mug down for Reacher] Hot as hell, black as pitch.

      Jack Reacher: Thank you.

      [takes a sip]

      Agnes: You like the coffee?

      Jack Reacher: It's okay.

      Agnes: It's from a feline's asshole.

      [Reacher stops drinking]

Agnes: Some posh brand Zachary likes. They feed coffee beans to cats, then dig through the litter box after they pass 'em through.

      Jack Reacher: What for?

Agnes: Something in their digestive system improves the taste.

Jack Reacher: It tastes like coffee. Might want to leave the cat out of it.

Tank: [to Howatt] You owe me 20 bucks. I told you. He don't like pussy.

Howatt: [laughs] Speaking of pussy, I've never been so jealous of a fork in my life.

      [Tank chuckles]

Howatt: You like cream? I know where you can get some more.

      Tank: Mm-hmm.

      Annette: Oui, de ta mère.

      Howatt: What did she say?

Jack Reacher: She said the cream came from your mother. Probably 'cause she's a big fat cow.

Howatt: [rises from his chair to advance on Annette] So she's funny now?

[Reacher kicks Howatt's left leg out and then slams his head on the tabletop]

Jack Reacher: [to Tank] You have any thoughts on dessert?

Tank: No, man. I got diabetes.

Jack Reacher: [sips his coffee again then looks reflective] A cat's asshole?
