Katrina Kaif On Salman Khan Casting Zarine Khan In Veer(Photo Credit –Instagram)
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were in a relationship between 2005 and 2010. However, despite parting ways, they chose to remain good friends and also collaborated on movies like Bharat and the Tiger franchise. But the superstar grabbed several eyeballs when actress Zarine Khan was chosen to star opposite him in the 2010 film Veer. The reason being Zarine’s resemblance to Katrina. Many fans felt that the actor did so because he was allegedly missing the actress after their breakup.
In a throwback interview with Cosmopolitan, Katrina Kaif had once broken her silence on the same. The actress furthermore also reacted on whether Salman Khan ‘mellowed’ down his personality after his breakup with the actress. The Merry Christmas actress said, “Isn’t that flattering? I think that’s so sweet. I even helped her with her make-up during her screen test.

“It has been 8 years since my mom died. As my son would say ‘That’s a lot!’ I always dread this day,” Lourd wrote on Instagram. “I spend so much time leading up to it thinking about how awful I’m going to feel. And my dread is usually right.

Hot off the success of “No Man’s Land,” Israel’s Spiro Films and France’s Haut et Court TV are re-teaming on “Armageddon,” a sprawling thriller miniseries looking at Christian extremists operating in the Holy Land.
The show is being created by David Ackerman, who previously worked in national security in Israel and went on to pen the film “Blank Bullet” inspired by the story of Yitzhak Rabin’s assassination, and “Jerusalem,” a gritty geopolitical thriller drama which competed at last year’s Series Mania.
Ackerman is currently writing the script for “Armageddon,” which weaves several characters, including a Christian American priest who travels with a few disciples to the Kibbutz Megiddo. Appearing friendly and charitable, the group starts forging bonds within the small community, including a mother and a son, while pursuing their secret agenda: find the Antichrist who will provoke a war that will fulfil their biblical prophecy...

Mossad’s state-of-the art data analysis identifies three suspects, all with possible reasons to commit the outrage, one of whose victims is the Israeli Minister of Culture. But suspicions don’t make them guilty.
‘False Flag’ mainstay character Eitan Koppel is once more dispatched to investigate and is always two moves ahead of the local police. “This is a very big deal for Israel and the local TV and film industry,” said Adar Shafran, chairman of the Israeli TV & Film Producers Association. After 10 consecutive days of violence, the renewed Israeli-Palestinian conflict is already considered the worst clash since 2014. For a film community known to be fiercely opposed to the politics led by Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, both Palestinian and Israeli filmmakers and producers fear the escalation of violence will cause irreparable damage. There have been countless fallouts between Israelis and Palestinians in the region over the last 70 years, but industry executives indicate that the proliferation of social media is taking commentary on the conflict to unprecedented levels.
“Today, because of social media, hatred is spreading much quicker. This is a nightmare, and it will affect relationships in the medium to long term,” predicts Rani Massalha, the Paris-based French-Palestinian producer of Tarzan and Arab Nasser’s “Gaza Mon Amour” which opened at Venice and represented Palestine in the Oscar race this year.

After a year that tested their limits and redefined landscapes, leaders in France’s entertainment industry share thoughts on their top achievements, the pandemic’s long-term impact and what’s on the horizon for them in 2021.
Thierry Fremaux
Director, Cannes Film Festival / Director, Institut Lumiere
What is the single thing — material or otherwise — getting you through the pandemic? The love of cinema. And the love of those who love cinema, for whom we tried to survive. Also, the new albums from Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen.
What was your greatest achievement in 2020? A book about judo. When I was young, I was into films and judo. Without cinemas, I went back to judo.
What do you think will be the long-term impact of the pandemic on the industry? The acceleration and urgency in proving that cinema is a singular art — and a precious one. Like movie theaters.

Hulu has dropped an action-packed trailer to “No Man’s Land,” an epic war series, love story and, above all, tale of personal odyssey.
Setting it apart, the eight-part series takes place against the background of the Syrian Kurd Ypj women’s militia push back against Isis, a struggle featuring formidable female fighters.
A Hulu Original, set to bow in the U.S. on Nov. 18, “No Man’s Land” is created by “Fauda” and “First Flag” producer Maria Feldman as well as Eitan Mansuri, behind Omri Givon’s 2018 Canneseries best series winner “When Eagles Fly.”
In a pedigree creative package, the series is written by “False Flag’s” Amit Cohen and “Euphoria’s” Ron Leshem.
That is reflected in a multi-level series which is at once intimate drama and geo-political eye-opener, and spangled by set piece action scenes between the Ypj and Isis, which make up much of the trailer.

Exclusive: Apple is gearing up to go into production on two of its first UK-commissioned dramas amid the coronavirus pandemic, as Uma Thurman starrer Suspicion and Gary Oldman-fronted Slow Horses prepare to shoot.
Deadline understands that Suspicion could be the first of the two shows to get cameras rolling under strict safety protocols after it was forced to shut down in March as Covid-19 ripped through British shoots.
The Keshet Productions UK adaptation of Israeli drama False Flag has entered pre-production and the shoot is planned for late October, although dates are not set in stone. Producers were nearing the end of the first block of filming before the show was halted.
Suspicion features Thurman as a prominent American businesswoman whose 21-year-old son is kidnapped from an upmarket hotel in central New York. Four British citizens staying at the hotel quickly become the prime suspects.

Apple is adding another international co-production to its streaming repertoire.
The streamer has boarded the Israeli psychological thriller series “Losing Alice.” The show is produced by Israel’s Dori Media Productions in association with Hot. The eight-episode series is currently airing on Hot and will stream worldwide later this year on Apple TV Plus.
The series hails from creator Sigal Avin, who served as director in addition to writing. It follows Alice (Ayelet Zurer), a 48 year old film director who feels irrelevant since raising her family. After a brief encounter on the train, she becomes obsessed with 24 year old screenwriter, femme-fatale, Sophie (Lihi Kornowski), and eventually surrenders her moral integrity in order to achieve power, relevance and success. The series uses flashbacks and flash-forwards to take viewers through the conscious and subconscious parts of Alice’s mind.
This is the second Israeli co-production deal Apple has announced in recent weeks.
