Mumbai, Sep 3 (Ians) Actress Shraddha Kapoor shared the most adorable birthday wish for her father Shakti Kapoor and gave it a spin of the actor’s iconic style.

Shraddha took to Instagram, where she posted a video to wish Shakti.

In the fun video, the father-daughter duo can be seen sharing a fun banter while the smiles and laughter follow.

She further jotted down the caption while wishing her ‘rockstar baapu’.

Remo D’Souza, who has choreographed dances in various Indian movies such as ‘Robot’, ‘Abcd 2’, ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Student of the Year’ among others, is all set to bring his groove to the upcoming dance reality show ‘Hip Hop India’.

Announcing his association with the reality show, Remo D’souza shared the official poster on his social media, creating great hype for the show among dance lovers.

The show will have a new celebrity dance judge every week who will amp up the dance expertise along with Remo. In addition to this, a soon to be revealed secret judge will determine who gets crowned as India’s next big hip hop sensation.

Mumbai, March 15 (Ians) Saket Chaudhary, who has directed ‘Pyaar Ke Side Effects’, ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’ and ‘Hindi Medium’, is all set to direct the best selling action thriller ‘Sleeper 13’ by acclaimed author Rob Sinclair.

Helmed by Saket Chaudhary, Chetan Motiwalla and Sanjeev Gupta, Turning Point Productions is all set to adapt the bestseller as a multi-season series set in India.

Talking about the project, filmmaker Saket Chaudhary said: “We are excited to bring the visual experience of ‘Sleeper 13’ to audiences. Indian production company Turning Point Productions is launching with a streaming series adaptation of Rob Sinclair’s bestselling thriller novel “Sleeper 13,” it was revealed on the sidelines of the 21st Hong Kong – Asia Film Financing Forum (Haf).

The novel, published by Orion in 2018, follows a protagonist who is smuggled to the Middle East as a child, trained as one of the most elite insurgents of his generation and forced to do things no one should for a cause he couldn’t believe in. Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor recounted recording the track ‘Teri Galliyan’ from the 2014 film ‘Ek Villain’ and expressed gratitude to Mohit Suri for letting her sing the song.

Sharing her experience, she said: “Before recording the song, when we were shooting ‘Aashiqui 2’, I requested Mohit Suri to allow me to sing one song in the film. But he was looking for a great voice to sing for the film.”

“So, one day during the filming of ‘Ek Villian,’ Mohit Suri called me and asked where I was going to be the next day, to which I replied, ‘I will be at home only’. He immediately said, ‘come to the studio let’s record the song ‘Teri Galliyan’.”

Varun Dhawan has been confirmed to star in the Indian series set in Amazon’s Citadel global franchise from the Russo Brothers.

It comes over a year after the Indian actor, who has starred in films such as Dishoom and Abcd 2, was reported to be set as the lead of the Indian iteration of Citadel.

The Indian installment, which was created by filmmaking duo Raj & Dk, will start filming in January 2023. The pair serve as showrunners and directors with Sita R. Menon also writing.

He joins the franchise alongside Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jones, who will star in the U.S. series, which will be the first to launch and is set to premiere next year. The first series comes from the Russos and David Weil and also features Stanley Tucci.

Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor reveals how his daughter Shraddha Kapoor and Chunky Panday’s daughter Ananya Panday have to work tirelessly to establish themselves in the entertainment industry. He shares that to earn name and fame one need to work hard and there is no easy way to do so.

He said: “I must say if you don’t work hard in your life, then you can’t become an inspiration for others. In fact, our daughters – Ananya and Shraddha, have become popular faces in the film industry all because of their hard work and struggle. It is not because they are daughters of Chunky Panday and Shakti Kapoor.”

Shakti further recalls how Shraddha gave her best to do well in Remo D’Souza’s directorial film ‘Abcd 2’.

“Remo is sitting next to me, and he knows that it was not easy for anyone to do ‘Abcd 2’, but my daughter actually pulled it off.

Mumbai, Feb 18 (Ians) Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor describes the lockdown phase of last year as one of her crucial phases for self-realisation. It was a period when she could learn to unlearn and redefine the value of zero, the spiritual meaning of shunya, she says.

"I think every time we start a film, we start from zero, from 'shunya'. Lockdown was a time for me to understand the value of several things, including self-love, the family and my emotional and spiritual health. I also think that it made me more independent, and things like the power of yoga to develop a focussed mind so that I can choose to be a part of any project -- film or entrepreneurial venture -- more fearlessly," Shraddha told Ians.

Mumbai, Feb 17 (Ians) Dancer-actor Dharmesh Yelande wants direct a film or web series. He reveales he has started writing a script, though he won't divulge much about the project because it is not complete yet.

Before becoming a dance sensation, Dharmesh used to sell Usal pav in in Vadodara. It was in 2009 that he became popular on television after participating in the dance-based reality show, "Dance India Dance".

A year later he donned the choreographer's hat in the 2010 film, "Tees Maar Khan", and then went on to act in films such as "Abcd: Anybody Can Dance", "Abcd 2" and "Street Dancer 3D".

"I always thought I would go back to dancing, so I participated in a show. Then I got a tad famous, and I got a chance to be a choreographer (Tees Maar Khan). Then I became an actor and then I stopped thinking! Whatever I...

Actor-dancer and TV personality Raghav Juyal says he does not like to go by the script while hosting reality shows.

"Generally shows have scripting. I don't like to go much by the script. I do everything in the moment and capture it and then have fun. It comes with all honesty. I believe in that," Raghav told Ians.

He will soon be seen hosting the third season of Dance Deewane, which is judged by Madhuri Dixit Nene, Dharmesh Yelande and Tushar Kalia.

Raghav, who has collaborated with Dharmesh many times in the past, says it is like having a family-like vibe on set. "Even with Madhuri ma'am we have a good bond. I think it is like a family and when you see the show," he said.

Last week, D'Souza was rushed to hospital after suffering cardiac problems. He underwent angioplasty, and is recovering in the hospital. 

"On Friday morning Remo was admitted at the Kokilaben Hospital following some heart issue. There were some blockages due to which an Angioplasty was performed by the doctors. Now he is doing fine according to the doctors. We are here, he is my family friend and we assure that please do not worry, everything is under control," Remo's friend Mahesh Kukreja had told Ians at that time.

Shraddha Kapoor, who has been in the news of late thanks to the success of her recent release Abcd 2- Any Body Can Dance 2, has already commenced work on her next Rock On 2. While the actress who shot to fame with the film Aashiqui 2 is working hard for her role in the film, we hear that she will also be undergoing voice training for the same. This time round, the actress will croon again for a special unplugged number in her upcoming film Any Body Can Dance 2 (Abcd 2) . As per the news reports, Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor will be crooning the unplugged version of 'Bezubaan', in which Shraddha will be singing the entire track and Varun will be doing a special rap in the song. Speaking about the track, Abcd 2's director Remo D'Souza said that the said track is a fun number and its recording is still in progress. Post that, Shahid Kapoor was taken on board and later, Tigmanshu Dhulia even confirmed Varun Dhawan's presence during an interview after the release of Saif Ali Khan - Sonakshi starrer Bullett Raja.
