I wasn't intending to watch the whole film at the time, just see if I wanted to watch it later. However, here I am, the full film watched, and impressed enough to leave a review.
What an absolute gem this is! The script is very natural, the emotions very real, something missing from too many big budget productions these days.
The team have delivered not just a highly polished production, but a story that kept me watching, and had me emotionally involved from the start. This isn't your typical case of 'small studio gives it a shot' but more 'small studio show what you should be producing, regardless of how much you throw at a production'
The shooting style was perfect for both story, and the wonderful North Wales locations it uses. The music choices were spot on, the acting was sublime and flowed well as things develop. Just when you think you know what's going on, you are given the next part of the story that, at times, makes you happy that you were wrong.
This film could have been twice as long and I'd still have watched it, to the end, all at once! We need more releases like this please.
