The Performances in this film are a washout. Alan Wood is literally the best thing in this film and here he's basically channelling his inner Tommy Weisau. I mean it; he REALLY gets into the role of a slightly threatening drug dealer. He's arguably the best part of this movie. Though I do have to question why Alan wrote a scene in at the end of the film in which he gets to simulate sex with a semi nude actress when all through the rest of the film the sex scenes have taken place off screen.
As in; his sex scene is the only one they ACTUALLY filmed...and he's the writer...interesting. Everyone else is SUPER dry. PAINFULLY dry. Dry to the point that it feels like their reading cue cards. SO dry. Student film dry. I mean; I like trash cinema so this was kind of my jam. But yeh. The performances in this movie are Baaaaaad.
Finally; the soundtrack. Its alright; reasonable quality. A mixture of original rave inspired compositions and royalty free tracks (as referenced in the credits) there really isnt a lot more I can say about that. What I can say is the actual sound recording is a mixed bag. Like...the on set audio isnt too bad for the most part. But anything that's had to be dubbed in after the fact; REALLY hasn't been mixed in well. So it's all a bit up and down honestly. And a lumpy sound edit doesn't half pull you out of the experience ultimately.

If this film was a fiver I'd wholeheartedly recommend it. As it stands it's just...not worth a tenner. It's a funny movie and it's definitely worth watching if you stumble on it in the wild. But for full retail? No. No I cant recommend this one for that. With a mesmerizingly awful script. Cine and direction that just about does the job but is ultimately soulless. Performances that you could sand your bannisters on and a score that's predominantly royalty free NOT TO MENTION it's Behind the scenes rabbit hole. The best I can say about this film is; if you can buy it as part of a group where everyone chips in 2-3 quid. It could probably be a quite enjoyable evening. Otherwise. Give it a miss.
In my opinion.
