Based on an SABC Springbok Radio sitcom, which itself was based on a BBC show. The original British actors were Richard Murdoch (Lamb), Wilfrid Hyde-White (Roland Hamilton-Jones (later Deryck Guyler (Lennox-Brown)), and Roy Dotrice or Ronald Baddiley (Pitkin). Their secretary Miss Murfin was played by Norma Ronald.
