First of all Disney MISSES huge on this one. The trailer shows cute characters, a funny snowman and an adorable deer. These characters show up over 45 minutes into a musical, girlie, dull story for any 3-30 year old boy or male. Bring on the bore. Yes your son and or nephew will like the characters in the middle of the story,but why, why , why and did I ask WHY? Do they wait so long to introduce the interesting characters? They miss the boat here BIG TIME. There is no reason they couldn't have introduced interesting characters for children in the beginning and throughout the movie.... anyway every boy i saw was bored, and un interested during the first 45-60 minutes of the film nuff said

I was only interested in seeing this movie for its visual possibilities.

I'm not a huge Leo or Toby fan. The first 30 minutes of the movie I was bored, didn't like the music and soundtrack, thought the cast was so ugly they were scary and just didn't get it. I was almost where I was thinking hmmm maybe time to walk out.

After the first 30 minutes the movie picks up the characters begin to develop and I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Leo's character and acting are superb. Toby does a nice job and their chemistry works well. The supporting cast is very good and the story itself holds its own. This movie is not a instant classic, however it was a great view and i would give it a solid 7 stars out of 10.

Other good movies to see...Iceman Hangover III (very funny) not as good as one.. NO SH***t,, but it was funny. has its issues but for a part 3 LOL. Fast 6 Iron man all good summer movies.. Deadfall is a great movie, but falls flat in the end.

Wow... This an over-hyped Hollywood propaganda movie. First of all it is a lame, weak and childish remake of a Great film Battle Royale, no matter how anyone spins it! Second the intro and beginning were weak, the middle was so lame, cheesy and kiddy i was laughing in my seat. The end was so dreadful and poor it left the whole audience empty. They Hype this film had BEFORE it opened was specific and precise. It is an attempt to de sensitize slow, easily mind controlled young adults 10-20 yrs old. It is getting them ready for the war and killing to come to the states. Third, the lead character Katniss is so dumb witted and makes so many Gross errors in the movie (11) i counted that she would have been killed 7-8 out of those 11 times, so unrealistic and dumb dumb dumb, but hey if you didn't see that and liked this film, your brainwashed and probably liked the trash film twilight. Go back to sleep sheep zzzzz. Please don't buy into the hype, the gay overtones of the future males and the projected woman that saves the world is so in your face its sickening. Its poor at best. if you want a good film like this watch Battle Royale Shinobi Naked Weapon Ellection (johhny To)
