Ok so obviously the show isn't going to live up to the high expectations of modern viewers. I, like many others have been excited for this show for years and surprise, it's not a perfect 10/10 show with no flaws that many people seem to be expecting. The acting by the actress who plays the "Third Sister" is not amazing. She is a little flat and seems to have trouble connecting to the emotions that she is trying to depict. Ok. Also the chase scene in the first episode was not amazing. However I find it impressive that people can genuinely feel so upset by a 3 minute chase scene not being great, that they would rate an entire show between a 1 and 4 out of 10. I mean seriously is every piece of media so perfect as if written from the gods that watching one bad chase scene would ruin an entire show for you?
My advice to most people watching this is to enjoy it for what it is. This show provides insight into events that bridge two major time periods of the Star Wars universe and gives us small details that we would otherwise just have to guess about. Without spoiling anything, it's fun to see into the lives of some of our beloved characters and get interesting information about what their lives are like outside of the main films.
Again I don't know what people were expecting, but for crying out loud manage your expectations towards media. Stop expecting Disney to read your mind and cater their content to your personal desires. Be happy we are getting new content in the Star Wars universe. This show (like literally every other show), is not going to be perfect, is not going to be exactly how you personally imaged it, and is not going to change the scope of the movie/tv industry. Enjoy it for what it is or don't but maybe don't review bomb shows after watching a 3rd of the episodes and seeing one scene you don't like.

All the reviews that are 1 or 2 out of 10 are a little overboard in my opinion. Half of them clearly only watched the first 20 minutes of the first episode. I personally believe that Hawkeye delivers exactly what it promises. So many seem to believe that every MCU show or movie has to be at the scale and quality of Endgame now. One review claims that Hawkeye is barely in the show, this is untrue as that just pertains to the first half of the first episode. Another claims that that Kate Bishop should not be skilled in combat or archery but there is an in show explanation for these things. Sometimes I wish that people would actually watch things before they rate them extremely low. I'm not claiming that this is the best MCU show that there is, but I do believe it is definitely not the worst one. To me this show is very refreshing in a time of multiverses colliding and externals protecting the world from universal gods. It has a very simple down to earth approach that reminds us what marvel is about. Not every hero has to spend every day saving the entirety of the universe. Sometimes it's nice to see a hero take on a small group of villains in just one city. I really don't understand how you can hate something that you seen 1/6th of. If you are hesitant about this series because of the negative reviews, don't be. I honestly believe this show is one of the better ones on Disney plus as far as Marvel goes. It reminds me of the pacing and story style of one of the Netflix marvel shows, just not as dark and gritty. As I mentioned before its actually pretty refreshing to watch a marvel story that is of a smaller scale and a bit more lite hearted.
