Yes! This series is very different to his other work (Mandown, Taskmaster etc) and that's what makes it interesting.
My first few episodes in to series one I soon realised that this was not what I was expecting. I cracked on with it and soon realised that it's pretty weird and offbeat but that's what made it more appealing.
If your'e looking to watch some exceptional (I think Greg calls them proper actors) such as Helena Bonham Carter, Ruth Madeley and Simon Callow etc bring quirky and bonkers character actors to life then dig in.
I actually really found some of the writing deceptively introspective and on-point covered in a layer of weird encounters and storylines and Greg brings his character 'Wickey' into the light as a pretty cool loser. I really like him and want to punch him in equal measure in nearly every scene and episode lol!! Reminded me personally of the late and great Rik Mayall and his comedy delivery at times in The Young Ones and Bottom.
I think it's great that Greg gets to star and write in something that he obviously loves doing and yes it's not going to be for everyone but I for one think it's enjoyable randomness and quirky fun and great to see something different from Greg as a writer and comedian in exploring new material. :)

Imagine if Dexter went for psychotherapy and that's enough info to describe the premise of this show without giving away too much. Solid acting from Steve Carell and I'm looking forward to seeing this evolve as the show moves forward. Make sure you watch it with little background noise or distraction as it's pure character discussion and nuanced details.
However, I recommend you save up episodes to watch as each episode is only 20 or so minutes long and this was a little frustrating and caused me to lose the feeling of atmosphere and investment in the story. No need to spoil the storyline by telling you anything here as it's a 'watch it for yourself' show. I went into it with little pre knowledge and feel that's a better way to watch most new shows.
Hope you enjoy as I have so far.

Didn't know what to expect after seeing less than favourable reviews online etc. Its pretty quirky and likeable but it is a little more juvenile than I expected. Nice cast but the CGI is a little underwhelming compared to what we know is possible at the moment. The episodes are also really quite short and that
bugged me a little. I could see where the writers were going for laughs and comedic asides during the four episodes I watched but I really wasn't feeling it. Perhaps they need to time to get into their stride with the show.
I'll keep watching in the hope it finds its potential going forward.
