Dave Allen
Dave is back on TV after a couple of years away, he explains that he's been retired, and what he's been doing for the last few years.
I had this series on VHS, I used to watch it over and over, I'm so glad this popped up on YouTube, it's a chance to rewatch this magical series, a genius at work.
It's loaded with incredible lines, 'When I grow up I'm going to be an engine driver...' I used to rewind that over and over, it's still side splittingly funny.
Dave talking about the ageing process is truly magical, it is so funny, him talking about Nancy Regan, I couldn't laugh any more, I'd exhausted my laughing equipment, he was so far ahead of his time, it is so true, so realistic, so well observed, the man was just amazing.
I can't say enough good things about it, it's off the scale, fabulous from beginning to end.
If only The UK had the level of debt that he was chatting about back then.
I laughed my head off.
9/10.

Dave Allen
Dave talks about stress, how as a society we can no longer deal with it, stopping children from sucking their thumbs, disciplining through fear of 'daddy,' plus the stresses of starting school and snoring.
Who would have thought that stress could make for such a funny topic, but then this man could make anything funny.
Dave chatting about mothers, pushchairs and roads, so funny. Best of all, the part where he's talking about the sandman, I had tears coming down my eyes, so funny, I seem to remember my own father telling me about the sandman as a child.
It's 1990 and Dave is talking about the negative affects of stress, the subsequent harm of sugar, this man really was ahead of his time.

Dave Allen
Dave talks about the differences between British and American audiences, the ageing process, antidepressants, slow drivers and more.
Where do you even begin, I was having a really rough day, so I thought, let's watch another one, my bad mood was quickly turned around, this was remarkably funny.
The funniest scene, Dave talking about fresh milk and his shrinking breadboard and knife, side splitting.
So well observed once again, the three R's for starters, I've never ever understood that.
Is it just me, or does Dave look a little sharper in this second episode than he did in the first.
It's still unusual watching Dave Allen less the sketches, his endurance was terrific, even the joke that didn't get the biggest laugh, just watch his turnaround.
