This is utter garbage. Bad acting, bad storytelling, every cop-bad guy movie cliche you can think about is crammed in this 6 episodes series. It's a shame that a good actress like Ana Ularu put her name on this piece of crap, but hey, it's Netflix, she's going international. I suppose as a Romanian it could be fun to watch for all the familiar Bucharest places but other than that, nothing is credible in this story, not even the mobster slang. The guy who created this garbage seems to have a passion for Romania, since he created another disaster called Hackerville. This doesn't even work as a parody or comedy, since everything is played in a dramatic and serious note. Cringe is the keyword.
Yet another preposterous overhyped garbage by Radu Jude. This is purely a collection of unrelated scenes that have no value for the story. But of course it is a satirical observation of the Romanian society, as they say. It's like a collection of bad sketches. Unfortunately not funny, forced, leaving you with a sense of fake by the bad acting. The director seems absorbed by randomly filming the streets of Bucharest and outdoor commercials. Endless minutes of the main character just walking the streets. Final part is essentially the entire movie story. Which is yet another bad attempt at humour, a bad TV theatre sketch with teenage jokes and. Let's not forget about the second part of the movie which is totally unrelated to the story and seems like leftovers from other projects and obsessions of Jude. So yes, it's certainly a nonconformist movie, in your face and striking at times. I love that in a movie when it's made right and has a sense of humour, as dark or dirty as it may be. This is not the case here. It's just a big mess.
